I managed to get it to attach once by using the launcher, but I had to restart after updating thebrodieman plugin, and now it just won't attach again. View attachment 5972 2014-08-01 14.01.txt
make sure your windows account is logged in as an administrator. make sure your fully logged in and in game before starting honorbuddy and to start honorbuddy right click honorbuddy.exe, and click "Run as Administrator" wow needs to be running in 32bit mode. to do this watch this video. it covers every possible way to get wow to start in 32 bit mode. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=St0xz-gf0zg after wow is started in 32bit mode, get fully logged in and in game, then start honorbuddy.exe
I had been doing it this way before, problem still exists. Honorbudy.exe will not attach to wow EXCEPT for when I open HB with the Honorbuddy.Launcer.exe This is quite an annoying "workaround" as I'd like to be able to close & restart wow or honorbuddy without having to restart them both at the same time, do you have any idea why my standalone HB.exe not working anymore? (was working fine the other day)
The only thing that has changes is installed "TheBrodieMan's" plugin (it asks for restarts after quest updates, that's usually when I get problems.) Restarting everything fresh with the launcher usually temporarily fixes this, but every now and then the plugin throws out a restart request, which causes it to act up again.
from the log its not even getting far enough in to check the plugin. like i said it doesn't matter how its done. but wow HAS to be running in 32 bit mode, and you need to be running as an administrator. if your still having issues then i need a new log.
