Hey guys, First off, I want to say I appreciate all the effort you guys have put in to help us players out. Your awesome. Now I have a problem at the moment. My desktop at home is able to use honorbuddy, but when I try it on my laptop it does not work for some reason. I only got one account. It does not even attach to wow. It tries to login and after a few seconds it crashes . It won't even connect. I attached a log in from the file, and every log looks the same. I reinstalled it over and over, and also reinstalled .net etc.. and still get the same issue. Can you help me out guys? thanks! View attachment 6208 2013-12-17 12.12.txt
I had been fighting this for 2 weeks. I tried starting the wow patcher then going Options>Game preferences>32 bit to load the game in 32bit instead of with the .exe I made. works again!
Hey I tried to do the same thing but I do not see a .exe file anywhere. In the same area I have it checked off as 32 bit, and its the only option. Where do I find this .exe? Thanks bud!
Hey Tony, I tried that and its still not working. It downloaded and installed. Said I was ready, but still won't attach to wow. What can I do next?
are you sure wow is running in 32bit mode? you can tell because on the login screen it will say X86 in the lower lefthand corner. also check here, and make sure your not running any of the programs that commonly interfere with honorbuddy. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/honorbuddy-guides/108771-help-desk.html#post1292171
Hey Code I checked the programs that could interfere and I have none that are listed. I go into wow and it says (x86) so its in 32 bit mode. What else can I try?
So guys! The samme issue happened to me, but its simple enough to change to 32bit. But I am afraid that this is a "trick" by blizzard to spot botters. What to do guys think or am I just dumb right now? Please let me know if its possible that they use it to spot us!
