So I've attached all my log file from RB and from Event log so I hope someone will be able to help me... It's a fresh install in a new folder with exeption from my antivirus software running as Admin for RB and FF14 No pluging no botbase or anything... I bet i've tryed everything i know now ill need your help...
Can you describe your issue? It's much easier if people have an idea of what to look for rather than just scouring the logs for whatever is wrong. It doesn't need to be too complicated. Something like "RB crashes every time I got to Upper La Noscea" or "My CR casts three spells and then stops"
oups i forgot to mention so I start RB on Orderbot or anything else it work for 2 to 5 sec then ff14 crash...
Looks like your running on windows server 2008, I haven't tested on that version cause its really old. You could try upgrading to a newer version and see if that resolves the issue.
I'm pretty sure that Windows Server 2008 came AFTER Windows XP....seeing that XP was released in 2001. Suggesting someone completely upgrade their OS because it's old is a pretty crappy cop-out. Especially when you claim to support an OS that is quite a bit older.
Anyway im running window 7 And the bot used to work a couple weeks ago i had some issue but at some point i managed to make it work... But in this particular situation... i don't know what to do...
XP service pack 3 was released 2008 as well, but does that really matter? Would you really prefer that he spends his time making the bot compatible with server 2008 when it's possibly only for one user?.. Don't you think your witch hunt is getting old, I know it's getting old reading your posts in various threads. I'm sure you're a nice guy, but this whole grudge thing man..
If your running windows 7 then there are a few things you can do: 1)Make sure all antivirus are disabled, most AV don't like process' interacting with one and other the way we do. 2)Uninstall all versions of .net and rerun the wizard to install only the proper version. For some unknown reason some users with 4.5sp2 have issues running the bot. I spent alot of time trying to replicate the issue but was totally unable to. 3)Reinstall windows. We can't account for every persons custom setup so there's not much we can do when 'it just doesn't work' for someone, reinstalling windows running the wizard and installing directx should get you in a working state.
The Last RB update seems to have fixed my issue... I was about to reinstall window lol. Hope the next update i wont be stuck like this for a couple day again
I have a feeling it was because the buildserver was derping and bundling the releases differently then when I tested it locally. If you could go into your rebornbuddy folder and delete rebornbuddy.exe.config and let me know if the issues return that way I know what fixed it.
