I've currently got nine toons on my account, and they're all alliance. I've got 80 x3, 74, 45 x2, and the others are level 30 or less. I may drop the ones that are less than 45 which would open up four slots for me to make new toons. I've always gone with alliance because that's all I know. I tried making horde toons, but the quests always seemed so boring to me and I couldn't really stand it. Now that I've discovered botting, I'm interested in possibly making a horde. With that said, I'd like some feedback. I want true, honest feedback and not flaming, or saying things like, "Make a horde because they rule." I want concrete pros and cons of making a horde. Some of my own reasoning to making a horde is that I think the armor designs horde get are much better than alliance. I've always thought alliance's armors looked, for lack of a better word, gay. I've also noticed that horde wins a hell of a lot more BGs than the alliance which would make leveling in bgs faster. Also, I've noticed that horde seems to be, for the most part, more mature than alliance. I also like the racials that horde get over the ones that alliance get. With that said, what does everyone else think? I'd also like some class/race combinations to go with. When I refer to certain things in my post I'm referring to my server, such as the maturity level and 'Horde vs Alliance' BG wins.
Both factions have their good and bad points, as does everything else in the 'verse. I just want to know, aside from my own listed points, what makes them better.
On my server horde out numers us 4 to 1. This makes for a lot of ganking Pro's (ally) Instant PVP que Small market to manipulate Con's Small AH market running into a horde death squads in your own city I play both horde and Ally
Finally! Thanks eddie. This is the kind of post I'm looking for. On my realm it's about 50/50, but the horde players are far more coordinated in BGs and they walk all over the alliance players. I also believe that on my realm the alliance is comprised mostly of children and teenagers, making the maturity level sub-par. However, when I was pulled into playing this game, I was dragged into alliance and that's what I learned to play. But, so far I think I may make a horde toon and grind it out to 80. I just can't stand doing the quests in horde. lol
sorry for lack of information. I dont play wow so i can't comment on the gameplay, i only bot to sell gold, and horde botting seems better to me not to mention higher demand on the website i sell. Ohya, also theres alot of horde killing the AH NPC stormwind, almost happen everyday on the server i bot... lol
From experience, demand (not necessarily price) for gold is higher on horde than alliance, at about a 3:2 ratio.
i think that if you wish to actually play the chars and not only bot them you should check racial abilities....maybe there is something standing out on horde OR alliance
Yeah, I want to play a horde, but also to bot them to 80 as well and use them for farming and other things. Just a multi faceted toon really. I'm not huge with PvP because I stink at it, so I'd look for one with a more PvE friendly racial beceause I like raiding more than BGs and PvP. Any ideas?
Well, I tried botting 3 allies to 80, I always got stuck and confused in the main cities like Iron Forge and Storm Wind. I find the horde places more local to everything. Also I picked horde because it's unusual to be a green horde instead of a human, which I am myself And when I think about it, raiding with gnomes and dwarfs makes me puke. Also, I agree with the immatureness / looks / BG wins....
To tell you the truth with all the expansions that have come out the horde quest and alli quest are the same past 60. And before that it doesn't really matter if your botting. There is no difference between the two. Only the races.
There is usually a higher price for horde gold as the general population being older so having the money/credit cards/paypal to actually buy the gold.
