Here's what's great about HSR: It can automatically generate hotspots at the spacing you desire. Alternatively, you can hand-place every point, or do a combination of the two. It can create new profiles, or modify existing profiles. This is useful if you want to spiff up an existing profile. Built-in tracing capability. The hotspot you're closest to, will have a yellow background, so you can tell where you are in the profile. This built-in tracing capability, makes it easy to find and fix bad hotspots. You can cause your character to 'go to' each hotspot individually - simply click the hotspot then click 'go to', or double-click the hotspot. Built-in tracing capability. The hotspot you're closest to, will have a yellow background, so you can tell 'where you are in the profile, AND the world. This built-in tracing capability, makes it easy to find and fix bad hotspots. Point-level control - you can remove single points or multiple points at once, and replace bad points individually. Check all points for navigability using the 'Check Points' button. Points that fail the navigability check, will be commented out with the phrase BAD POINT. You can navigate to those points manually and replace them when you find them, or remove them entirely. Reverse points using the 'Reverse Points' button. Reorder points using the 'Set as top' button. This will make your currently selected point, the top point in the profile. This is useful for tuning grinding profiles to start near the teleporter, for instance. Single-window - All the functions are on one screen, there's no need to tab between pages to access different functionality. Well-thought-out user interface - the most important buttons are all at the top left, so you can resize the window really small and keep it out of the way. Thread-safe - There will be no errors like 'Can't read memory at XXX' because it's multithreading safe. This means no hotspot dropouts or restarts. Where can I get it? HSR is available via SVN here. How do I install it? All the files go into your 'Honorbuddy/Plugins' folder, into a new folder called 'Hotspot Recorder'. Now, you could download the files one by one, but that would be tedious and time-consuming. An easier way is to install TortoiseSVN, and checkout the latest changes using the link above. Don't worry, it's not as hard as it sounds! Just follow these instructions: Download and install TortoiseSVN. Create a folder called 'Hotspot Recorder' inside the 'Honorbuddy/Plugins' folder. Right-click the 'Hotspot Recorder' folder, and choose 'SVN Checkout...' from the popup menu. Enter this when it asks you for the URL, and click 'OK': hotspot-recorder.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/. You're done! To grab the latest version whenever there's an update, just redo step 3 above. To create a profile, Honorbuddy needs to be in combat or grind bot with an empty profile. Honorbuddy also needs to be running before you can use the recorder. More instructions can be found in the ReadMe for the product. If you get a 'file not found' error: Be aware that some SVN packages will name the folder for you. If it puts the files into a folder named 'hotspot-recorder', rename it to 'Hotspot Recorder.' I guess this is going to help a lot of people and I hope will increase the ammount of HB profiles because of less time spent doing hotspots. Thank you for this!

HonorBuddy has to be running with combat bot, or grind bot with an empty profile, before you click any of the buttons. I've modified it to put up an error message stating that, instead of crashing, but yours will work too - just make sure HonorBuddy is running (click 'start' first).
Um, that might happen if you have a foreign language version of HB. I'll look into it. What language you using?
Hey, thanks! But I'm not a man. Did you notice - a lot of screenshots of mine contain a female name? If your mind immediately jumps to 'Trinity' on the Matrix, I'm OK with that.
OK, I've put in a bit to make it foreign-language compatible, I believe. Test it out and let me know if it fixed it for you, thanks!
Could I use this to make profiles for custom leveling profiles. I have never ever made a profile before and I would like to have a c r a ck at it or at least try. open to any help anyone can offer in getting me started. Didn't know you couldn't say c r a ck.
Haha, we'll you'll REALLY love today's version. Yesterday was like having cake - today it's like having cake with frosting. I added four new buttons: Previous - navigate to previous waypoint. Next - navigate to next waypoint. Run - navigate to ALL waypoints, ignoring aggroed mobs! Stop - Stop trying to navigate. It is SO nice. I finally have eyes and can see, when making a profile. I can see that some of these profiles have spots up in the air, and can knock them down. I can see some profiles were autoconverted poorly, and too many spots are in the air - those need to be tossed. I head into a dead-end gulch while recording, and regret entering this area - I can turn off recording, click on prior waypoints until I find where I left off, delete all waypoints from there to the bottom, and resume recording where I left off. Try it, I guarantee you'll like it!
Glad you're loving it! Yeah, the only way it could be better, is if it drew a path in the air in WoW, to show you where it was in the sky, or on the ground. But if you think of something that would make it better, let me know!
I recorded a test profile for AV and saved the new profile to Default Profile/BGbuddy/AV Test and tried to run it in BGbuddy but it didnt work. How do I run a newly saved profile for a bg?
