I am currently a certified programmer and studying college majors for web and computer programming. I have a thorough understanding of how they are catching you and finding your other accounts without even trying. I don't post here too much, I thought I would contribute though.

Recently, Blizzard has decided that a bot banwave would be beneficial to the community. You have to understand that one of the problems with public scripts is that anyone can view the source of them and learn the patterns and walking ways of the scripts. Anyone can come onto this forum and download public scripts. Blizzard has wrote a script and implemented it to find which accounts are following that exact pathway. The walking pathways on these scripts are the biggest thing they use to detect, because programmatically speaking it's the easiest way to catch bots. Think about it, all bots will follow the same walkway since they're sharing the same script. The script does not ban anyone, it simply adds account names to a queue where blizzard can review the account activity to confirm if it is botting. What is the best way to avoid this type of script detection? Learn some basic programming and change the script walking pathways.

There is three ways anybody online can ever find you using your PC, including government agencies.
      IP Address
      Mac Address
Cookies - Not so much for WoW since it's a client.

Also remember that it is very easy to find computers using the same accounts regardless of IP address. Blizzard not only uses IPs to find accounts, they use mac addresses which most people don't change or know how to operate. If you want to change your mac address, feel free to download tMac changer. It is malware free from download.com

gerbil: Blizzard takes the hard drive serial number so IP and Mac switching is sort of pointless. Locking this as its theorycraft and that's not what this forum is for.
