I used the GB2 profile loader plugin to convert a GB1 profile to GB2.
The GB1 profile has its own badNodes.xml. I was told to click the 'blackspot' button or something similar from the HB program to copy lines from the badNodes.xml file and then paste the lines into the converted GB2 profile.

However, I cannot find this 'blackspot' or something similar feature in the HB program.

When I was comparing a GB2 profile (for blacklisting info) with a badNodes.xml, the lines look different from each other. So, if the new HB program doesn't have this 'blackspot' feature, then what's the best way to find spots and add them to the GB2 profile manually?

Indeed, GB2 does not use a GB1-style badNodes.xml file. Instead, it uses the same <Blackspots> element that one would find in a normal HB profile.

As you have discovered, the XML element, and XML attributes for identifying a blackspot are not the same in the two (GB1 & GB2) grammars. Use the HB-style Blackspot in your GB2 profile, and all should be good.

Also, GB2 doesn't have a nice 'blackspot this' button that GB1 had. You'll have to add them manually to your GB2 profile. The developer tools built into Honorbuddy should help you find the needed coordinates.

cheers & good luck with it,
