Hi, I got this bot for not a full week now and I bought it because i wanted to speed up my "reach lvl 90 on multiple chars". Thats because I dont have much time to play myself (maybe only 2 - 3 hrs a day). Since last friday my every day procedure is like this: Around 6:45 AM - Start WoW and the Questing Bot with a non lvl 90 Char (I did this with 3 chars until now, they started with lvl 80) Until around 4:45 PM - Let the bot run. Questing. I'm at work at that time but i can watch the bot via VNC anytime I want and I dot that. I care about guys messaging me. Until around 8:00 PM - The bot is stopped, WoW is closed. Until around 0:00 AM - Play my 90 chars without bot and around 0:00 AM stop the bot and go to bed. That repeats kinda every day... Is that highly risky? I mean... i think its pretty human to play that much hours when one is questing? Thats the first question. But I got a second one. If that what I described above is not that much risky... i would like to open a second account for gold and material farming with the bot. What should I consider when it comes to that? Is it enough to run the bot on my laptop (still same IP :/) ???
I do the exact same thing and have never had a problem. Just need to keep an eye our for getting stuck or another player whispering you, which it sounds like you do. I personally wouldn't run the bot account on the same machine/IP, but that's just me. I bet lots of people do without issue. I use a separate desktop and a ***.
Don't bot on your main account. Don't do it, man. Hey, man, don't do it. Anyway - my personal experience with using a virtual desktop setup involved teamviewer and a tablet (a powerful one) and it'd be pretty unrealistic to questbot like that. I had trouble controlling the character itself over the virtual desktop. Questbotting involved quite a bit of corrective action - it's more of a proactive form of monitoring. It gets stuck sometimes, it decides to just run in circles sometimes, it gets confused as to whether or not it's supposed to be looting a specific thing, or killing a specific thing, or sometimes it gets stuck trying to do an objective while things are beating it up. . . If your virtual desktop lets you comfortably play - and your job allows you to take 5+ minutes at a time to fix it - then, sure, why not? Otherwise, I'd suggest against it. I'm not sure about the safety of botting on one account and then not the other, if they're both at risk, or not. I've heard mixed reviews. You'll have to talk to someone whose been banned (I haven't).
Well I think the only way to get to lvl 90 (and soon to lvl 100) for me is to bot on my main account. I dont think i have any other option. As I said, I could only play 2-3 hours MAXIMUM a day when i would choose not to bot. I don't want to waste that time with leveling... As far as I know its not possible to grant so much levels from a RaF account that I could do what I want, right?
only way he'll get reported is if he does something really stupid while questing - like running in to a tree for 5+ mins straight and someone reporting him for it.
I've botted on my main for years - literally leveled my first char back in BC with Glider doing the infamous ban-bait turtle grind! It's possible to avoid bans, the more proactive you are at monitoring it the less likely you are to be reported by players, and the less often you do it, the less likely you are to be banned by detection. But the chance is always there - do some risk assessment. I got lucky. Lots of other people got lucky, too, and so can you. But a lot of people got unlucky, too. . . The chance of being banned if you bot intelligently are relatively low, as are the chances of botting if you have a specific goal, achieve it, and stop. Just don't be lazy about it.
So really the only way i can get banned is if someone reports me? What if someone does that? Will a GM watch my toon and punish any inhuman movements or so? I mean... people can report players for no reason if they are bored or sth... And is the cheat-detection rate by warden (is that warden???) that low?
funny theory first - you dont need care about some1 whispering to you , you can stop all chat from chat options - /whisper chat even battle tag chat second - with questing chance to be banned very low , got 33 x 90 in same connected realms with main acc no problems third - try this - stop your bot every day before 00:00 realm time and start it in 00;05 realm time it work for me dont know why gl and have a nice boting
