right click the ground a few times or right click a new target a few times, eventually it corrects itself

it's something to do with click to move as that happens to me as well even when I'm not using HB

Go to the menu 'Interface -> Camera' and choose 'Never Adjust Camera' and reload the UI.

Try choosing one of the other automatic camera adjustment settings, then reload UI, then if necessary switch back to 'Never Adjust Camera' and reload UI again.

I've had this issue many times when using bots and this has always fixed it for me.

      Hi, WinterWonder,

This is not a bot-exclusive problem. We occasionally encounter the problem when playing with just the WoWclient.

Usually a "/console reloadui" in the WoWclient chat window will repair this issue. Alternatively, you can hit END to cycle to another camera view, and readjust it to your liking.

      cheers,

For me this never worked. I had to make sure CTM was enabled, click off in the distance and then wait until the toon stopped running to disable CTM. Everything else would stop working after 2-3min

Same for me. After reload it works for 2-3min, then I have to reload again. Geting realy annoying. It's not possible to play like that. The second i let go of the mouse button to select a target, the camera turns around and the target glide out of the screen. Don't know what to do now???

Doing exactly as I suggested above should fix it. I said reload the UI after which it sounds like you never tried until now, but without the other steps.

I'll spell it out for you again:

      1. Go to Interface -> Camera
      2. Look under 'Camera Following Style'.
2.a. If anything other than 'Never Adjust Camera' was selected, change to 'Never Adjust Camera' then click 'Okay' and close the interface menu, type /reloadui and press Enter.
2.b. If 'Never Adjust Camera' was already selected, choose something else then 'Okay' and then /reloadui, then follow step 2.a. above.

The end result should be that it gets fixed with a /reloadui while you have 'never Adjust Camera' selected. This should stop the issue from happening again.

If you are doing this and still have the issue pop up frequently, then you may have a problem with the game client or an addon or something other than the bot.

Tried exactly what you said, many times. Even made a reload macro on my keyboard. (Enter, /reload, enter). Ending up with having to reload evry 3 min. Only thing that works is always adjust camera, but then I can't rotate the camera to click on something.
Never said it was the Bot. Going to reinstall WoW and clear every temp files.
      Hope that works...

Yea I would try a clean WoW install and run it with zero addons, at least initially.

I've had the same problem happen numerous times over the years, but never repeatedly after doing the above steps. It's always been fixed after doing those steps only once.

Keep us posted as to your results with a clean install.

Generally I have this happen while playing manually if you don't turn off click to move. Using your mouse bottons to rotate the camera while moving with the keyboard can cause your camera to lock in an undesired position.
If you are playing yourself with just a combat routine and you are having this issue:

      Start bot
Make sure camera is staying behind character
      Open up your interface
Turn off "click to move" by unchecking the box

This should prevent you from rotating the camera while accidently "click to moving" while moving manually via keyboad+mouse

try to right click on wow.exe, Properties -> Compatibility -> Check:disable display scaling on high DPI settings. Fixed my camera berserking on my Win8 tablet.
