How to use a packet sniffer to get the 5$ link?

I read somewhere on the forum that the 5$ link is right underneath the 50% link in the game client. I googled packet sniffer but if anyone can give me the rundown on how exactly how to do this that'll be great!

cmon, Install wireshark, sniff your route (ip traffic).
Go for the first time on a trial account, wait for the "special offer" to appear, click on it, STOP MOVING

now stop sniffing in wireshark, and search for the battle.net reference for clicking the banner, it should've redirected you on a web page that has been traced anyway.

 

You cant sniff nothing because there is not 75% discount offer just 50% so you'll end up with the 10$ bchest.

 

I used to do Network/Digital Forensics. Let me just say, one does not simply download and know how to use wireshark. I taught a class on it and it generally took people ~4 weeks to start grasping what they are doing. Don't get me wrong, you always have your exceptions. But I would save your time. Hunting for a link in packets doesn't really seem like a real solution to me. I would pay the extra $5.

trying to have a little fun on Apr 1. a few seconds on google and couple more on Paint, and we got smiles all around.

 

Watching beautiful women and sniffing paint might give you smiles for now but it will ruin your health in the long run

 

tamperdata can be used to find it but its completely un needed its not a secret link or anything just google it lmao

 

fiddler is a better tool for what you're trying to do. free software but directly sniffs the traffic per connection, not per packet. wireshark is great, but for a more in depth analysis.

 

Can someone with the knowhow do us a favour and packet sniff the new link for $5 75% off and post it here, yes it may only last a few days but hey HB is down, time for us to plan a new team etc and use the link, ty in advance.

the 75% link does not exist. i know how to sniff and im not lying the 75% is gone u only get the 50%, if u dont believe me make an starter account enter wow and tell me if u see the promo on 75% or 50% when u going to the character screen if u see 75% discount screen because i only see 50%
