Now I dont code or anything like that so I may be completely wrong.. I just feel like a hearthstone bot could have a lot more potential than what it have now. Hearthstone is a logical game and most of the time its just about getting more value out of your cards than your opponent, and i feel like a bot should be able to execute this task perfectly. Right now the bot makes so many misplays. Took a priest to arena and got 1 win because the bot traded poorly and used its spells very poorly. But also just in general. Hearthstone is becoming a huge game with a very good botting potential and i would love to see the bot get "smarter". Like i said, I may be completely wrong and it may be very difficult to code such thing but i think bossland should give hearthbuddy a little more love and attention.
I was in agreement till I saw this. Arena is totally not logical at all. Different decks run manually by people running different styles is extremely hard to predict and code for. You could get 1/2 wins, but then once you come across the good players there is no way to predict what they will do. That does not mean the bot can be improved, I'm sure it can, we just don't have as big a community as say WoW - so the number of talented coders working on hearthbuddy profiles is smaller.
I get what you're saying. But I still feel like a bot should be able to play around clears and different combos a class might have. Also the bot overextends all the time. I could win a lot more games if the bot would just keep some cards on the hand so all minions wouldn't die to an AoE. But its a lot more logical in constructed where you basically can predict what deck your enemy is playing from 3-4 cards. If a bot could utilize that, plus all the other stuff, I think it would be a lot better.
I agree with that - the bot makes lots of silly mistakes that end up costing me. That's the reason I tend to arena manually only - and will continue to do so till the bot is improved (if it ever is lol).
Yeah this bot sucks when it comes to arena hearthranger i got 10-1 and its free but its so buggy that you cant really do much with it
I was just going to make a post about how bad this thing is at arena... custom decks... the bot is a total beast!!!! Just it has some issues in the arena and the reasons Jadax give are why, I think it would just be too hard to code for EVERY thing. Still I love this thing
I don't know what's going on with this thing, like it does moves that make you say to yourself wtf? I feel like I can barely get over 50% sometimes as well
