i got a suspension

After my suspension this morning I got suspicious and did some research and talked to some folks.
Seems like there is a sudden rise of bans. Don't if anyone else has some concrete evidence about this?
It also seems that this relates the most for BG buddy users. Should we hang low for a while?

Is my account also being watched more closely because of the ban?

 

As everyone has stated, the term Banwave is misleading. People are getting banned because they bot afk in BGs or using Herb-profiles which GMs monitor harder nowadays. Use the profiles smart, and you will not get banned...

It all depends on how one understands the expression "Banwave". Banwave does not necessaraly mean that it has something to do with the bot detection. Who cares what the reasons are for been banned. If you see that a lot of people is getting banned then it is mass banns or banwave, But you should not always associate the word Banwave as it is "Oh my god HB is detectable".

 

I got banned yesterday, was using Kicks Profile for leveling my char to 90, he was 89 and i was botting just a few hours per day. Didn't farm gold or anything...

Blizzard accused me of selling/buying gold for real money... which I have never done.

So I really don't understand what's going and I am trying to dispute this with them.

 

yeah but before so many bans were not reported on this forum. Nowadays there are several bans reported every day. It's strange.

 

I suppose we'll get a deep clean before the patch
