How long on a new legion release? echo you are really not keeping us in a loop we pay to be in i know its a long process but an update every few hours or so would be nice even if its bad news, its still news. dont like being left in the dark for days. hope to see a post soon
Shall they give you every 10 lines of reviewing the code a new info? in that time they can do another 20 lines while wasting time writing updates. I hope that they put so much effort into it to give us a better security because when they want to charge us every 3 months they need to offer a better and safer product. Its done when its done, so far im using an alternative product and in a few weeks I know which one was hit by the wave ;P the pointers take a few hours to update so its pretty obvious and i guess thats already done, its still searching the detection vectors.
Here's 5 updates directly from the development team: https://www.thebuddyforum.com/threads/honorbuddy-update-status-patch-7-2-0-build-23877.299082/ Here's the place to ask the question for the 1millionth time: https://www.thebuddyforum.com/threads/honorbuddy-discord-server.241434/ "echo you are really not keeping us in a loop we pay to be in". Entitled much? They already said you were being compensated for downtime. What more could you want? Everytime they give an update they get new posts like this garbage asking for more.
Honestly, I got answers to questions faster on Discord than on the forums. Yeah there are a lot of trolls, but it's easier for the developers to actively participate in there. Echo was positively active in Discord giving us bits of information about what was going on. Sometimes it was just a smidge of info and not enough to be made into an announcement. The whole thing about Discord is if the person doesn't have a yellow colored name then you shouldn't take it as a fact.
I think paying customers are entitled to timely responses/updates even if there no significant progress. It's okay to be disappointed that the product isn't finalized and released because you like the product and want to use it. It's not okay to get pissy with the developers when it isn't. But at the same time I feel like some users get overly defensive when people ask for updates. If updates were more regularly posted I think the amount of threads of people complaining would drop significantly. Also if people are getting quick responses in the discord as opposed to the forum, I think that should be highlighted.
No business does this. Even if you beta test for technology companies such as Apple you are entitled and "in the loop" for nothing. Blizzard doesn't even tell you why maintenance runs longer than expected. Get real and stop being childish. They gave everyone an updated statement damn near every other day.
I feel like my comment was pretty reasonable and far from childish. Not like I was asking for a running update of every line of code or even specifics; a one sentence update would suffice. Maybe you should consider stop being one of the overly defensive users I mentioned originally.
Problem is people think they feel more empowered when they knock you down for asking a question. They forget that there are 100k users if not more and new ones poring in every day. Not everyone likes to spend money on a product that they have to wait for a over extended time to get to use it. So before coming out with the clearly rude comments answer his question and get a life. Being this is just a client that runs a game. and this client has been hit a million times with lawsuits and whatnot. Making it very hard to even use a bot in wow now. Or oint him in the direction to some rotation bots that dont take that much time after patches so he is not completely without. Most of us do that very thing now. And before you comment on my new account im far from new just like to post things that dont exactly mesh well with forum bosses so i have been banned from here a few times on a few different accounts.
Nothing wrong with expressing an opinion, but I think reality has shown, you aren't going to make the buddy team more "responsive" in terms of updates. it's very clear they don't take their customers into consideration with how they deal with things. Not until it directly affects the money flow. This is why I don't ask for ETA on updates because I don't expect an actual answer to be given. I give them money and I wait and eventually get what I want, which is a fully functional bot.
