I haven't been hit, but I am also botting for just over a month, so not much to be cought up for.

I see many people lost a lot of 90, many accounts with a lot of gold and what not.

I've read awhile ago that newbies, like me, start asking "Is this a banwave?!?!?!?!" (the many ?!?! are intentional), but actually it isn't.

So Blizz just decided to do some of their delied tasks or what's going on?

The bans that you see recently are from player reports or manual investigations. You will always see posts like this from time to time. It has always been like this from wows release.

We have been lucky not to have had a banwave due to software detection with hb which would cause tens of thousands of banned accounts essentially banning every account that hb was loaded onto. This is what all bottors should fear the most because it would not matter what bot base and how careful you botted.

Its only US accounts being banned. EU is flooded with bots atm, boters posting ore on AH in hundreds of stacks, gold price going down but its still decent.

I am talking exactly about the past 2 days there are 5 topics about banned accounts, before that it was like 1 topic per day.
I see, didn't norice they are all US.
However I agree on the EU part - I see a ridiculous amount of stacks posted on the AH, constant undercutting - people using AHBot, and as my bot flys around to gather other bots flying like a train after me, then me after them - damn I really gotta stop being lazy and write profiles for everything.

Blizzard occasionally likes to ban player reports in groups which can give an impression that they are banning more aggressively. More then likely they have collected all of the player reports for the last couple weeks and banned them all in one day. This method tends to scare more users for maximum impact. The reality is that blizzard has been continuously banning players on a regular basis for many years and to see only 5 bans reported in one day is a good thing. Their have been periods on these forums where 10-50 ban reports per day have been posted. Even though those numbers might seem high hb has tens of thousands of users making them a drop in the bucket.

Right about now I would expect many more bans as a new patch has come out and historically are when large numbers of people are banned.
