I'll try it noamchomsky. And Tony: The problem is I have loaded up different bots (questing, BG's, etc) but for instance, i tried doin BGBuddy, and there was no "random" one, so i put on Warsong Gulch, and it joined a random, didn't get Warson, ofc, and ended up standing there the whole time. And for question, it doesn't work either. Just waslks around, goes to a quest (low level) and then ends up just standing there. I can't figure out how to get it, and it's annoying, considering i bought the bot, hoping it would be able to work. >.< Any suggestions?
Based on your forum join date it seems you had the misfortune of purchasing the bot just as it went into major redevelopment to update for the expansion. The bot is not currently fully functional and is only a test release. Some pieces are working but its nowhere near complete. As stated in the Q/A post (first link below) this release is of most use to advanced users and developers. Frustrating as that is for a new user I can assure that once the redevelopment is complete you will be very happy with it. Its an incredible tool. I know that it has been going through developement, reconstruction, etc... but i still have friends who's bot's work properly. I would just like for someone to be able to help me get it going, and maybe show me the basics for developing, etc, because i would be interested in that. And knowing that would be able to help me with the bot it self, as well as helping others.
Understood. If you can't get the friends with working bots to assist then I would suggest starting from the beginning and going one step at a time. Start Here: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...5-quick-hb-guide-presentation-fast-setup.html Honorbuddy Service is going to expect you to have done that anyway. Follow it step by step and make sure you have the very latest HB version. Take the whole process one step at a time and don't worry about extraneous plugins and addon features. Get the basics working first and worry about one issue/feature at a time. The less moving parts, the easier it is to troubleshoot. If you're past all that, the bot loads, you can pick a profile and its just not doing what you expect, work one problem at a time (e.g. figure out the BGBuddy first then worry about Questbot). When you get stuck, contact Honorbuddy Service or post a log and be as clear and specific as possible about what's not working. We can't tell you why the bot is "just standing there" until we look at the log and see what the bot IS doing. Remember that as a test release its going to be going through very frequent updating and what worked 5 minutes ago may suddenly not work right after an update. Be patient, work each problem one at a time in a linear manner and be willing to accept that sometimes the answer is "not yet". You'll get there.
