Good! I have read this post before I go to sleep and I was not very quiet. I have not been banned but I do something similar to this person. I'll fill in the questions and then do you think because I am doubtful and I do not want the same thing happens and baned me. 1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? GB2 2)If so, when was the last time?: 3 days ago. 3)What profile were you using?: Herbalism farm profile. 4)What combat class were you using? Default, Druid. 5)What plugins are you using?: none 6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 6~7 BUT only 2 or 3 days a week. ( I game 7 hours straight but Raiding HM, PvP, some bg... and when I just go to sleep and put the BOT other 6-7 hours while I sleep, so here I am online 14 hours, that's suspicious? Taking the title of Sha HC and full ekiped is less suspicious or do not care? ) 6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? 0%, im sleeping. 7)How many auctions per day did you have?: I farm many plants, but I am not exaggerated and put all only get between 7 and 8 packs in AH, but the rest of use to flask, glifs, off-hands, potions, etc. so here I put over 120. 8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? no 9)Was your account involved in gold selling? no 10)EU or US realm? EU, but the population of my server is medium - low and at night when I put the bot almost no people. 11)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? always been paid, but this month I have paid particular with Recruit a Friend. Again, I have not been banned, answering questions like this, I'm endangering my account? or putting the "bot" only 2-3 days a week is not dangerous? although after 7 hours of play I'll leave another 7 hours but with the bot. if you wanna avoid a ban dont use public mining profiles or herbalism make your own with zap recorder also download addons gathermate2 gathermate data and routes create you own path with the wow addons and fly it with zap recorder save the hotspots also use Randomise hotspots in gatherbuddy but ye really most people get banned of using public profile for mining and herbalism since blizz can download them to from the forums and see the hotspot and where they fly in witch direction when i use my own routes i almost see no one flying there when you use public profile you see many times 4 5 people flying in the same direction.
It may also be possible that Blizzard has designed an automated system of hotspot detection using those public profiles. Meaning it automatically checks hotspots known from public profiles and the order in which they are used. If a sequence is used again and again, repetitively, then that might automatically flag your account for investigation or suspension. Anyway, that would be a clear cut reason not to use public profiles.
Following your advice I modified an existing profile to do so from 0. I've got some Blackspots and therefore added some Hotspots, that vary the route, plus I put <RandomizeHotspots> True </ RandomizeHotspots> hope it works well and does not follow a sequence. By the way I changed the mailbox and vendor: P I put more than 120 auctions, hope it's not a problem either, as I have said several things are different, as 70 Glyphs, 12 varieties of gems, 4 types of flask, maximum 8 stacks of plants, etc.
Hello mate, From what i see, you are relatively safe from ban. Only two addons that i would suggest you are "Log me OUT" and "HBRelog." "Log me OUT" can be configured to log you out on several triggers: When you get X number of /wis, if player follows you for X time, if someone targets you X times, and, most importantly, if you bot ends up stuck X times. "HBRelog" is addon that allows you to get back ingame when "Log me OUT" logs you out of game. These two addons can save your buff for nasty stucks and classic unstuck routine "jump, 3 steps back, 3 steps sideways." Also, being on EU realms gives you big advantage (im also on EU realms) since security is not so tight as on US realms. For instance, i botted 24/7 while leveling my 4 characters and grind Keys/Shards for Golden Lotus/Klaxxi reputation, or when i collected skyshards for Alani and i didnt got banned. For instance, i botted in last 2 weeks 8 days straight, after which i made a break for 10hours, then again botted for 3 days straight, break for 10 hours and another 2days straight and i havent got banned.. so, you are pretty much safe as bot usage, try to get some utility addons as Log Me out and HBRelog and you dont need to worry about it at all.
