As the title says, we've fixed mounting but you'll need to specify your mount's name now in BW's settings for it to work - auto detect won't work anymore.

If the textbox is grayed out, delete your BW settings folder and re-start the bot; it should allow you to enter your mount's name again.

if there are mobs near, then he kills them and then no movement afterwards... mounting works

**Aratech Scythe is working fine on another toon and different grinding profile.

Thank You very much!!!!!!!! You rock.

For those that don't know how to do this see below:

1.Locate your Buddywing folder and within navigate to your folder called Settings.
      2. Inside the Settings folder you will see a individual folder for each of your toons, select one and open the folder.
      3. Once you open the folder you will see a BuddwingSettings .XML file. Right click the file and for basic users select open with Notepad.
      4. About 11 rows down you will see <MountName>Aratech Nethian</MountName>. As you can see I have the Aratech mount so I wrote the name in as you see above. Very important step, the spelling of your mount has to be dead on. This is an important step, if the mounting does not work, 99% of the time this is the issue.
      5. Select save once you have written in the name and close folder. Enjoy.

P.S. The other 1% that will cause this to fail is that you do all the steps above while Buddywing is running with said toon. You need to restart Buddywing each time you make the above changes for it to take effect.

      Have Fun All !!!!!!!!

Additionally, note that characters created while the mount issue existed might not have that line in their BuddyWingSettings.xml file. If the line isn't there, simply add it to the file and your character should mount as expected:

      Code:
      [B]<MountName>[COLOR="#800000"]Your Mount Here[/COLOR]</MountName>[/B]
      Cheers,
      -D

If you're going to do that, make sure you also set the AutoMount or AutomaticallyDetectMount or whatever it's called to false; that's the reason I mentioned delete your settings folder and not just enter your mountname in the XML file. :)

Ive got a problem with mounting in an area where mounting is not allowed.
Buddywing gives me the following message: Mounting Longspur Sportster.. result: MountNotAllowed
But it keeps spamming to mount and doesnt move.

I am still having problems running profile on Ilum with Rendili Watchman. If i get lucky it kills first mobs then [POI Set] Type: Hotspot and stops.

      Other toons/planets work.

Coming up with a fix for that shortly; if it gets a MountNotAllowed EffectResult, it'll not mount for 5 minutes.

      Hi Oodaloop,

The latest build (400) still seems to have some of the same issues as R399 - the bot sometimes pauses for long periods of time while trying to mount. I recommend using build 397 until this gets sorted.

      Cheers,

Still looking into that one; turns out to be a hard one to tackle properly.

I'm having problems using my Rendili Watchman on a level 16 char with legacy mounting. Character just stands there, doesn't even attempt to mount. If I manually click the mount button, bot carries on but it seems like it simply will not even try to mount automatically. Any thoughts please?

Turn off mounts since they are currently not working correctly. This will be address some time in near future.
