UPDATE: Some clan mates and other reports of players getting close to ~2B XP/hr in FULL GROUP (for bonus) of well geared strong pet/aoe classes. These are 1% type players with the best weapons/armor/set bonus - 2B XP/hr is NOT normal (but possible).

INFINITE-XP-IT-FORWARD​

We could try using this thread to invite/join others for the XP bonus once infinite XP scenario is already set up. Infinite-XP-It-Forward...like Rift-It-Forward. This might not work if undergeared people join overgeared people in a T6 game looking to get carried.

Hi everyone - I did a very simple thing and combined this video I found tonight on the internet that describes how to set up the infinite spawn scenario with a combat+pickup only profile.

PROFILE SCRIPT
​

Below is a simple "combat+pickup only" profile script (shown in code) I found on these forums that will allow you to infinitely farm the area with no specific objective once you've set up the infinitely spawning monsters as shown in the video above.

How to make profile: Create a blank wordpad doc or copy another DB profile and open it in wordpad and delete everything in it and rename it and put in these few lines of code and save it as .xml.

YIELD

XP yield is ~750M+/hr on T4 UP TO ~1.5B+/hr on T6 depending on gear/class/kill rate/etc.

~0.5 L/hr on T4 over a VERY small 5 hr sample with 0 MF.

TIPS
​

There are 3 demons that can spawn at the map fringe shrine (not the center shrine) - make sure it is EMIKDEVA not any other named demon. This elite can be rare to find. The infinitely spawning adds are called SOLDIER OF EMIKDEVA

***The faster you kill - the faster they spawn (up to a point) - the more XP/hr you can push.

Fast refresh AoE type abilities and AoE items/weapons shine here and really increase your kill rate.

***Turn off Trinity gold inactivity it doesn't help here.

***Eventually your armor will break (~3-4 hrs) and you will die and everything will stop working. Wear unbreakable armor shoulders to run this for more than ~3-4 hrs.

I suggest setting Trinity pickup rule to legendary and gems ONLY (and plans/crafting mats/etc) - your bags will fill up fast.

It's also possible to step off to the side on the stairs to get out of combat and port back to town, change abilities, etc.

I found it helpful to clear the stairs area so you will not get combat chain dragged up and out of this area. But probably not necessary.

This spot will also work for your friends who don't have DB but have macro keyboard, mouse, 3rd party program or duct tape. AFK auto attack without moving works. AFK while WD pets kill everything works too.

CONCLUSIONS​

Most people in this thread are between 1.1-1.3B XP/hr T6 SOLO PLAY which does NOT outperform insta-leave Ghom script especially for the difficulty in setting this scenario up. But this method is new and sorta exciting (and potentially frustrating) to try and accomplish at least once.

1.5B+/hr is the video makers claim. I believe it is possible to get this high but you need a very custom specific aoe setup or perma-pet classes like WD and good unbreakable gear to get to 1.5B/hr and maintain it.

This might also be an amazing powerlevel spot as you can just park other characters off to the side forever without join/leave/danger/etc.

This is a nice change of pace from creating ~60 games/hr - this is very fast xp with only 1 game created. I'm not sure if that's a red flag or not to Blizzard but it's different than most other xp farms in that way.

CREDIT goes to the guy in the video for figuring out this method - and he figured it out from a Chinese guy's stream as he explains in the video. All I did was put it together with the blank farm script and make this post.

 

So, ummm, went there, kited him away - went back, no adds respawned. :/

There are 3 demons that can possibly spawn on that outside clickable siege rune shrine - the only monster that works with this infinite spawn method is Emikdeva. It took me 1 hour of zerg death searching and resetting one time to even get Emikdeva to spawn.

It's tough to set up I find because you want a high T level for the easy infinite respawn mobs. But once it's set up its easy to afk.

 

Just found him on my 3rd run thru, will report back in 5 mins time

there we go, took some doing to dump the elite as i ended up pulling another 3 rare/champ packs

got it running on t6, already estimated @ 1.1bil/xp/h and 600k/g after like 2 mins and steadily climbing

 

Cool let us know what it evens out at. I'm only able to go up to T4 - beyond that the setup is too difficult for my gear level.

Still no issues and so on, playing monk atm going pretty badass ...... once u manage to get there and kite him away

ok set it up, found him on 3rd run.

so far im averaging at 1.17b xp/h on t6, as crusader FotH lightning build.

the faster you can kill the more xp, mobs seem to respawn as you kill them.

will leave it running a few hours then ill post a log.

 

I have set this up, got it on my 5th run. I'm running it on T6 with my wiz for the past 10 mins. I wonder if there will be any leg drops, i'll leave it running for a few hours and post a log as well :3

Some time my bot will restart the game. It seem that I should turn off something. Could anyone help me?

Update:

LEGS STILL DROP, just got a belt/shoulders

 

Running it on T6, 1,1b as Exp/hr right now, seems to have stabilised at that.

Gonna leave it a while and see what happens, it's also making about 750k gold/hr.
