Similar to BuddyProwl the Iphone Monitoring App. I was considering developing a Android* based app.

It would be free and open source.

What i want to know is

      1. Would anyone use it.
      2. Features, Ie What would you like to see in it.
      3. How many users can install an .apk without it being downloaded over the market. (I dont own nor can spare the $25 dollars/pounds what ever it is. to register as a developer.)

Want a beta when i get somewhere?
Emails and device/android version type please. pm's or emails to: ariochofmelnibone'at'gmail'dot'com.

*(Android 1.6+ (My Crappy X10 Mini Pro cant get 2.1 yet let alone the rest))

      I would love this! I have a Samsung Moment, 2.1 Root v7.

Just a simple html output to an apache server would work fine for any mobile browser and would be significantly better than the buddyprowl imo.

The less on the page the better, so like, no pictures beyond 5x5 pixels for icons!

I'd love an app like this. Do you have to store it on the market? I've downloaded apps directly to the phone by visiting websites.

Shut down bot, xp/honor per hour, deaths, kills, loots - stuff like this would be nice.

I would use it, and the features I would like have basically been stated above, but if you could somehow allow it for use with BigSister (just because BuddyStarter only crashes my WoW's) that would be great!

      Installing .apk's is easy!

You check this box under Settings > Applications
      [IMG]

      Mount your SD card via-usb
      [IMG]

Then you copy the .apk to your SD card and use ASTRO File Manager to install the .apk

Or... if you know what your doing, enable USB debugging, and use the android sdk to

I will use it, and if you have it in working order, I'll pay you for it to be on the market.
