It's not nerfed. I'm farming it now, about 120 scraps per hour (manually). It's even faster with two people farming it because the mobs instantly respawn so you don't even have to move. Limit is how fast you can dps them down. I came here looking for a profile so I can run my bot with my main and farm up all the boa transmog sets real fast. I'll let you know how it goes. Edit 1: Kills: 981 (935/hr) 92 iron horde scraps 600g in coin 100g in vendor trash 14 greens 2 auctioneer parts (i have trading post) which I'm guessing are selling for a ton. lvl 100 unholy DK. And it does seem to have some vendor function in place, at least with traveler's tundra mammoth because it went out of the cave and vendored all on its own then went back in to farm more. Thanks a ton dude, perfect profile. Does anyone know how risky it is to grind the same mobs for long periods of time? This is basically 1k gold per hour with just vendoring everything. Oh, and the scraps don't drop for characters that don't have the dwarven bunker, so I gotta wait an hour to test the duo-farming. Edit2: So it seems that two players farming the mobs definitely speeds everything up; but not two bots. I put my 95 enhancement shaman in the cave too and they were strong in a party together but they not spreading and using the insta-spawn to full advantage until I dropped the party. But then the spawns started coming up too fast for the lvl 95 to handle. And it never dropped combat so it wasn't looting before the corpses despawned. Duo-botting the cave has huge potential, but would need a plugin or something to force the looting every 20 seconds.
I don't see any orc's at this place just those armadillo guys. Edit, found the spot, although very few mobs I don't see it safe farming this for long periods of time, looks to suspicious if a GM would happen to see you. not to but it down, just giving my feed back. I do how ever have found a better spot and i'v never givin making profiles a sh0t at it, but here's a picture. I would suggest IL 625+ for this spot, as I'm 629 and I struggle a little with 3 mobs on me.imgur: the simple image sharer
It seems Blizz has nerfed the hell out of this cave. There is like 5 in there that respawn very slowly.
i was going to make a profile to kill mobs with over 50% drop rate but so far i have killed 15 mobs and not one -.- something is up with wowheads drop rate calculations
