Interested is 24/7 (or 20/7, such times) botting itself makes you flagged? Or it is only additional factor only when somebody reported you, i.e. it does not initiate investigation itself but if investigation takes place somehow (reports, other auto filters, etc.) the account seems more like bot? Anybody have experience when he botted 16/7 with no ban, then increased botting time to 24/7 and after this bots began to ban, in a week or low?
I've been practically been botting where ive grinded my ass off for like 8-10 hours on really low pop servers (servers u could get free xfer to, etc) while i been to school so like 7-17 or smth, then gotten home nothing happened and this is months ago.. then recently ive been lvling like crazy(using questing profiles) for like 12 hours or more a day if not 18-20 hours, been monitoring the acc tho at some hours when at home.. but havent heard anything, been 90 for 4 days.. then suddenly while i sat my gatherbuddy to bot and gather, went to bed.. i felt the banhammer.. so i cant tell you if its a coincidence of events or just a banwave, cause i read somewhere that they "gather" up all the reports and then just slam it at one specific date, or like as i read in the US they do it on thursdays (im eu tho so no worries). so ye edit: sry for wall of text but getting banned is so frustrating xD
i got banned friday at 9.03 i botted 24/7 for 9 months mines/herbs/archeology/bg/fishing never banhammered before
I wouldnt be surprise if they are picking up on the banning before 5.2 comes out.. I botted easily 12+ hours a day while i was asleep/afk for almost 2 years (off and on).. and just recently got banned for it.. What i am personally doing is laying low till probably a week after 5.2 comes out to see if it makes a difference.. I've noticed that alot of banning has been happening this past week, even for just casual botters.. But appearently Warden does pick up what time you log in and how long you've been logged in (from what i've been reading around the webs) .. at one time there was speculation that warden picks up how many kills per hour you do (probably not so likely) .. but you never know..
i think the safest way is just using hb with lazyraider there always people that report you ingame for getting stuck
so what i mean 1 account where u play on with hb and lazyraider and one acccount where u dont care of for gold farming or 2acc
So there is nobody was banned after increasing botting hours? Some people botting year(s) 24/7, some 10-12, and banned the same way... More hours = more chance of reports, so you may make your bot look like player and don`t worry about hours? Maybe, gatherbuddy have high chance of reports, especially if you use public routes? Seeing player at the same places hour to hour...
from my "research" by that i mean reading the forum and talking to people if you bot 24/7 do it on a few different toons. if the same toon is seen for too long it increases chance of report but if you switch toons ever few hours and areas it lowers that risk. I just bought another account myself and im leveling it up and im gonna try going 24/7 on it as long as i make back my money b4 i get banned ill call it a valuable learning experience =P
^this.. almost zero chance.. and obviously anytime you leave your account unsupervised for a long periods of time bad things are bound to happen.
