I am reading that people are supervising their account 95-100% of the time and barely botting and still getting banned. What is alerting Blizzard to the use of these programs? Are people reporting them botting and then Blizzard takes a look or is there some sort of signal that alerts blizzard the second you press "Start" on the HB program?
There are always player reports if you don't bot smart, but the waves of bans are from a detection method which is unavoidable for us users. HB is as safe as it has ever been, it has been said since the beginning of honorbuddy time that you should not bot on any account you aren't prepared to lose tomorrow. Botting is cheating, is against the ToS, and will eventually get you banned.
Yeah, I've been using it for a while now but I guess with this detection method they have am I going to get caught if I just press "Start" and then immediately after "Stop" it??? Is this method like perfect that it can see everything what is going on?
If the HB team knew how banwaves were happening, there never would be banwaves. If we knew how we were getting caught, we'd never get caught. You do realize how silly the questions that you're posing are, right? If you're scared of getting caught botting, don't bot...It's as simple as that.
You probably wouldn't get a ban immediately, but any account you bot on regularly is bound to get banned eventually. Just don't use the bot on your main account, use it on alt accounts to benefit your main. You can usually use it on an account on the same B.Net safely for BoA stuff OR on separate B.net accounts funneling gold / mats via a guild bank.
I was using kick´s questing profile last night. Some places it just look so much like a damn bot. The bot was was going in a triangle path back and forth to quest npcs, 3 times Lol ! - Caper
We've never noticed this. The profiles are under constant improvement. EchoTiger is most awesome about making them better daily. But, you have to report issues to his thread (Honorbuddy Mega Profile Pack), as he no longer uses his mind-reading superpowers. (Invasion of privacy issues.) If you don't report issues, you've no right to complain. Be sure to attach a log that illustrates your issue. Honorbuddy is not safe anymore , lots of accounts get banned in the first day. Blizzard detects it somehow no matter if bossland wants to admit it.
Not sure where you are getting that from, look at the Ban Reports, they are extremely sporadic. The few bans outside of waves are from people selling gold / running a team of bots / botting in Battlegrounds. Personally I have 2 accounts who have been alive for over a month suicide botting Halls of Lightning...which is pretty blatantly obvious and risky. I don't think this account is going to last forever, but it's lasted WAY longer than anyone would expect. It is perfectly safe as long as you use disposable accounts for BoA Mounts / Gold / Mats / etc. Honorbuddy should never be used on an account you want to keep, that's been true forever.
I started 3 accs , all banned after 10 hrs , leveling only . Is it what u call safety ? I used fresh windows and wow client +vpn. Its obvious
If that were true then the Ban Reports section would be overflowing with bans. When you are the only person getting banned within 10 hours then you can assume it's you, not HB.
Best guess...You're using a garbage VPN that has flagged IP's. The more you try to hide yourself, the more you're probably sticking out like a sore thumb to blizzard. If you want to try again, try doing so without any security measures in place and see how it goes.
