Over the past week or 2 i've tried a few different herb/mining profiles and none of them are working correctly. They all do the same thing, even though they are different profiles. For example, the 2 Elwynn 1-75 profiles on here both just run down the main path of Elwynn into redridge and then into Burning Steppes. It's freekin weird. I'm not the only one to notice this. One of the profiles makers said "Idk what's up with a few of these...the hotspots all in the right place, but they seem to want to go to random places". (http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...ofessions/15078-mining-profiles-4-0-3a-4.html) I've checked the other profile im using and again, the hotspots are correct but it still just runs out of Elwynn
I noticed it, but gave up, HB isn't really specialised for herbing/mining, thats what GB is for. Seems to work fine for most other things so i'm not overly concerned.
Yeah i know GB is best for that kinda thing but the problem is that im creating a new char on a different server. Have no cash so want my lvl 18 to gather a bit. GB is only useful for flying mounts, i tried it once without a flying mount on a low level char and it was a disaster.
I see your point. I always thought HB herbing/mining was just a nice side addition to leveling, that it can grab a node or 2 if near it. Skinning seems a winner for new characters though, so that'd prob be your best bet until this is resolved/confirmed.
Yeah its odd, i first thought it was something to do with auto find flight paths, but i dont think it is after turning it off.
Just pointing out that skinning is now also a great moneymaker - even more so than in WotLK. You now have a chance to skin Bloated Stomachs which contain 1-2 random volatiles. This can add up to a lot of gold EDIT: Still, this bug should, naturally, be fixed - you might want to consider submitting it in the BuddyBugtracker - a guide on how to do so can be found in the release thread on these forums
Yeah i have submitted a bug to the bugtracker but i fear it'll get lost. The bugtracker is full of new, unassigned bugs.
