PureSWTOR appears to be a dead project and the only other info I could find through search is 3yrs old.

Is there a currently workable solution for when the BW 4.0 update is released?

I'd love to see some project for this, but.. As you state here your self, most of them is old, very old. People has loss intrest for Star wars.

I love it tho, had my big break for years but me and some friends found it again.
Im not a dev for even starting a project like this, I would tho if I could :p

But who know! Maybe arter this big change other will find it fun again too.

Sort of - For lazy raider at least.

The Default routines are fairly decent at dpsing, and I'm told Sorc/Sage has a healing routine now too. Haven't been able to test out how good it is though.

If you load the bot with a blank routine, you can control movement and it will dps for you when there's an active in combat target. Without any pause function though it makes it difficult if you have to stop dpsing something to try and throw a stun in for example.

However, be warned, the bot is temperamental, and if you haven't dps'd in awhile due to a long conversation, it can stop working and only way I've been able to get it working is restarting the bot. However Default Combat is pretty easy to figure out and setup some advanced dpsing logic. If you've ever tried Gnomesequencer for WoW, it is like that, but it will do the dps for you (and cooldowns etc with the right parameters).

I know that sounds bleak, but honestly I've leveled using this method (as I'm mainly playing for the stories as such) and it's worked perfectly. Manual targeting though. FP's and Operations works fine too.

Just use the Default routine that comes with the bot and a blank profile. I'm getting some classes updated for 4.0, but I'll need help with the classes I don't play. If you're noticing the bot doing things it shouldn't do, just post in the DefaultCombat thread and tell me what to change.

      Oh..!

I might have missread this, stressed at work ^^
But you want the bot to control combat, and you control where to go and who/what to kill?

If so, yes.. As people says here :)
Load a profile thats empty, aka creat a textfile, put in this and rename it to: Combat.xlm (or whatever you now want to call it)

      Code:
      <profile/>
This should (and will) use the combatroutine you chose, most likely the default one as thats the easyest atm to setup.
Sorry for my other post, was a bit derp :)

Thanks for the info. I've been using the default routines with the combat bot(blank)profile for leveling and it works pretty well. The problem is that whenever you are attacked(hit by AoE etc) the bot will engage your attacker. In order to be useful in FP/OP it really needs a hard on/off toggle or some other such logic to help you maintain movement/targeting/attacking control, as apparently PureSWTOR did

Maybe I could just strip out the targetting part of the routine? I think I saw something similar in the PureSWTOR thread somewhere.

Does it? I dunno. I use my own modified versions of the default combat routines and while I have some issues with auto targeting, it's usually when something dies and the game re-targets.

PRO TIP: remap the Q and E buttons. Q for target next enemy, and E for next ally. that way you can run dps or heals if you need to and switch targets on the fly when your companions stun the guy you are fighting. if you are a non-ranged class make Q target nearest target it saves a lot of running back and fourth.
