   As the title says is there a setting or some code or plugin that can be edited to farn specific botany or mining items from nodes?

   Yes, you can either edit the XML of a profile directly with a program such as notepad++ or use the built in profile creator and add items to the "items to collect" menu in the lower right hand of the window.
