      Hey guys.

The date of my purchase of my HonorBuddy is 03/10-11 - And it has been a bumpy ride for me, using that bot.
I knew a few buddies using it, and they told me how awesome it was to bot, and I thought yeah wth - I'll give it a shot.

But since my purchase I haven't really achieved anything with it, due to that simple reason; The bot is too dummy proof for me.
With that said, I mean - I'm not daft, but this bot-system is just way out of my league.
So therefore I seek help here and guidance, throughout this post.

I got a few questions, even though you guys might think they are stupid - And makes me look daft! :)P)

1: I tried to level this character. I used Tortouise (Recommended by a friend), to download everything usable for the bot, from both Kick' and The Azenious Project.
I copied all of the QuestBehaviours into my installed folder of HonorBuddy. After that, I created this Orc Hunter from level 1, and began to bot it up.
The thing that is nagging me is - After 1 day and 2 hours playtime, I only reached level 24. My friend said, it could not be true, so I might've done something wrong. But he can't locate the problem. Can it be true? I know that the bot might be slower than a real human playing, but again - I think it's a bit too slow.

2: I need a proper CC for my classes, and often they don't really work when starting the leveling from level 1.
Am I doing something wrong with the CC's? I mean, I put them into CustomClass folder, and run it when I open HonorBuddy.

3: On my main, I am doing professions, and I found a great profile for leveling skinning. But it only kills the mobs and loots them - Doesn't skin it.
Therefore I got tired of it, and tried to reinstall my HonorBuddy and that didn't work. So I am sorry to say, but I don't got any logfiles to attach.

For going back to quest #1 - It tend to just stand still at a point, and doing nothing related to quests. Doesn't even kill mobs. Just stands still, avoiding to pull stuff. Yet again, I am sorry that I don't got any logfiles to attach. But it helps to stop the bot and start it once again.

Sorry for this, maybe lame thread, but I am really lost - And I just wanted to know if I am daft, or it's the bot config that's wrong.
      Help appreciated.

      Thanks!

      Hello Tony,
Thanks for answering, and not accusing me for being daft! :p

But just before I post a log file, can you tell me, if it's normal for the bot, to take about 1 hour to level 5?
Is that normal or is there something wrong with my configuration on the bot?

I think it would be even more waste of your time, to check my log file, if it's perfectly normal - And if so, I'd rather not waste you guys time, but my random noob questions!

From my experience (depends on your ISP, computer speed, firewall, etc) but the first time you do anything it's going to take a while because of mesh's being downloaded.. Also if your looking for speed (especially in starting areas) start up HB and go to "Settings & Tools" scroll down and uncheck "Kill between Hotspots", this way the bot will mainly focus on questing.

I'm no expert, but it looks like mesh's took 20 minutes alone. It did this for me too at the very beginning, it has to learn the zone. I would try another 1-5 tauren, I guarantee it'll be faster this time

But it needs to mesh all of the areas? Hmm, I'll also try disable that Kill Between Hotspots thing and see how it'll manage.

      Hi asamoht,

Like etharl said go to settings & tools and un check kill between hotspots. I also noticed you wanted to do the skinning profile it also seems like you have that set to false so check that to under looting . As for 1-24 in a day played check the box that says use flight paths and also check learn new flight paths, find vendor automatically . That should help a ton =]

      Hello Jack1010,
      Thank you for your answer.

I just checked and unchecked those things you've told me - And trying to run a re-check on my bots leveling progress on my Orc Hunter.
It started out well, so let's see if it runs smooth from now on.

      But just to get back to the mesh thing;
Does that really take that long time? I mean, I'm on a 25/10 M/bit connection, and everything goes fine, if I have to download anything - So, a few mesh files can't be that tough business, yes?
Anyway, thank you for replying, I will go straight onto business with the leveling, and see if your guidance helped me!

      And by the way,

In one of my previous threads, Tony recommended me to edit the .xml file, because it kept staying on low level areas - I got suggested to edit "QuestOrder" from "True" to "False".
Doesn't that also help a little bit on the time leveling, yes?

add an exception about Hb in your firewall

      Dear Asamoht ,

Yes it helps out heaps =] everytime i start out a toon i hand play it till about level 13 because it takes about an hour or 2 then i just bot the rest. So kicks profiles are always set to questorder to false.

With that Internet connection I wouldnt see a problem, make sure HB can go threw ur firewall and ur routers firewall (if applicable). I'm just talking personal experience, I tried farming Deepholm right? Spent 30 minutes downloading, then it got the path down and worked perfectly.

      Cheers

      Hello guys.

Thank you for replying, but I am very sorry I haven't answered before now. My connection died in the weekend, so I kind a didn't have any internet :(
      Well. Just to go through your replies one by one;

@Tony: I just checked my Firewall - And as far as I can see, HonorBuddy is allowed in my Firewall settings. It can use any port it wants and do whatever it want. Maybe I fail at adding/configure Firewall settings?

@Jack1010: Okay, I might consider that, even though it's the first 20 levels I HATE doing by my own. But yeah, sure - I will try it out next time I have a project upcoming.

@etharl: As written to Tony's reply, I saw HonorBuddy is already allowed in my Firewall. So, maybe it's just the internet connection that fails? I often encounter troubles surfing and playing at the same time, so - Maybe I should just let it play WoW and not surf Facebook! But I don't know, I will try some testing.

All in all, thanks for the replies!

      Greets,

Yeah - At my own flat I'm on a gsm network. Unfortunately the connection sucks :(

      Can that be a reason?
