Whenever I use the soul gem and load up rebornbuddy as a black mage it just sits there and casts Blizzard 1 every 3-4 seconds while keeping thunder on the target. It does not seem to want to cast any of the fire spells or normal rotations. Whenever I load it up as a Thaumaturge it works fine.
Magitek breaks down too sometimes when using a job routine below 50. Your best bet might just be stay as a thaumaturge unless you want to go into the routine and tweak it yourself.
This is good as long as you have your job crystal, there's this GT botting on my server and he's a running joke in all of my linkshells and friend circles since he doesn't have his job crystal, coupled with merging with different other RB users when running FATE Bot so everyone already knows he's botting (and anyone who copies his exact same path or merges with him during his way to a FATE), couple that with a lot of his FC-mates running the Busy status while also running RB and you've got an FC that's the joke of the entire server. There is actually one other FC I am sure that's also using RB but they are a lot more discreet about it, or at least trying much harder than these people. The truth is, SE probably knows about them but isn't banning them since they want to do a wave and find out if they have RMT accomplices since they've been known users since last, last month. That, or they want to ban RB users in a wave and are using them as a test case to see their pattern? Just speculation, of course, but I try to be safe.
Thus far SE seems to be banning only for RMT and hacking. I heard from a friend that a GM said 'we don't ban for botting', although I'm not sure what context it was in or if it was even true.
