Before Tues I was able to edit my item.abd file using the hex editer. The patch erased the file of course (was tired and didn't notice in time to abort) but now I can't seem to get some items to save themselves to the file. I can still modify the items that are in the file but inspecting, linking from wowhead or wearing the items doesn't seem to save the display ID's to item.adb. I am starting to think this may be due to the inspection bug. I was wondering if anyone who does any model editing has run into this problem recently? If its a bug, could someone share a item.adb that has all the heirlooms in it? The file is erased upon entering or exiting wow but if you paste it into the proper file while wow is running it will work for that session.
