Maybe some of you know the program and website on the net from Mr E. Dale, where he teaches peeps to make their 1st dollar with Internet Marketing in 30 days.

Would it be doable to do this with Honorbuddy?
30 day Challenge for making your 1st $ using Honorbuddy!

People make groups and try to learn from each other. Of course we don't have to say what realm we're on, ... so there will be no competition.
To me it sounds like an ideal way to get to know other botters an helping each other out to get started. You can say what profiles work for you or don't, what you do to level your characters, let the group know how you protect your accounts, ...

By the end of the month, results can be posted on this forum and we could see if this works or not.

It's all just a thought, trying to get an even better atmosphere between HB-users. Especially starters who may have a hard time trying to figure i all out between the hundreds of different topics.

Hardcore botters probably won't like this idea cause the competition becomes bigger, but i'd even pay a hardcore botter to help me setup things. it's all business and investment so that way hardcore botters who've been around for a while have something to gain aswell, besides the personal contact and respect from their pupils.

Maybe Bossland can make some deals with pwnboxer, offgamers, ... for this program even? Cheaper use of pwnboxer, cheaper stuff on offgamer, special promo on HB, ... + more users/clients for HB and others.
So it's a winwin or all of us.

      Feel free to post opinions.

Would be fun, but my personal opinion is to stay as far under the radar as possible. I can't help but feel something like this is just taking things too far, certainly when you are encouraging people to bot with promos from other sites.

Just leave things as they are and let people get on with their own business.

Agreed, just let people get on with their own business, if people want to get into the market let them do it the hard way on their own so they can learn properly how hard it is.

I researched pretty much all on my own and developed my own methods, I do not regret it in the slightest.

Hi, I'm not smart enough to figure out how to bot and make many dollarz while doing so. Could you please accept my bollocks story and teach me?
      Yours sincerely,

      A competitor in disguise.

if that's what you think of my story then why does this community even exist?
Why would people put any profiles here if it would make others make money. I guess they put wrong/fake ones so the people who use it will be disappointed and stop botting...
i find it weird people are ready to diss on suggestions, but still come here. Why are you here Boobie009? I guess it's not to give advise and help others.

      The Trolls strike again.

When they say "Get on with their own business" they dont mean exactly that. Yes what happens in WoW should be kept away from other Buddy Users (Unless they're fun),
But how we get to that point requires a lot of support. I remember my first day, trying to figure out how to upload .XML files and all that cool stuff.
I went into the Chat room, asked for some help, got more than enough "Look on the forums" and other flaming. One person, was all it took to get me started on my way up the ladder.
The few who do post profiles, of the thousands of users who dont seem to appreciate their work, are very important to the Buddy Community.

well believe it or not some people actually do care to help others out. though there are a bunch of money hungry peeps on this forum, and that's their right to be. but from my observation most peeps want to learn. another observation, with new learned skills in profile making or whatever it is you develop skills in. Using certain programs as VB and others, it could land you a job in the real world.

Also it does lower the price when you have 100 new people knowing how to sell gold which in turn drives the price even lower to the fact everyone's pissed off. so if you can't figure it out by searching this forum than you shouldn't be doing it. I'm pretty sure that most profile writers have their own personal profiles. but see there are very limited free profiles to use and want to help. and plus there are guides on how to make them yourself.

i came here to level my characters and level professions, but also make some money on the side to pay for monthly subscriptions. if i get anything more than its just money in my pocket..

      Agreed.

When it comes to assisting others into getting their feet wet with starting botting vs. sales on the gold market there's a huge thing there. If they're wanting someone to hold their hand and show them where to sell that's like robbing the others. Everyone else had to research where to sell and what to look out for. I feel if someone wants to do it badly enough they'll find out how on their own terms. I'm all for teaching how to bot but it's your responsibility to learn where to do the rest.

Exactly, your OP was based on having a competition with promotions from other sites that are also against the T&C's of WoW. Promoting things against Wow is a bad idea, they exist sure and to a certain extent, Blizz tollerate them, but all out blatent promotion of going against Blizzard is akin to starting a war with them. When I say keep myself to myself, I mean not advertise the fact that I bot all over the internet. I'm more than happy to help people here if I can but the last thing I want is myself being associated with other sites and other forums - it would only be a matter of time till one of those gets associated with my WoW accounts by accident then it's game over.

I didn't mean a competition between botters, maybe that's misunderstood. I was suggesting making small groups with botters so they can learn from each other more directly, maybe be in contact with skype, im whatever... Let your group know what's working for you and what isn't, what profile you use and they use and why, where you sell, give tips, ...
In a small group so you don't have to post it all in 1 topic to this forum of course, especially not where you farm , ... That small group you should see as a give and take thing, but i can understand that it could be hard for known botters to get into this which is why i was thinking of giving some kind of fee / month, a commission, ... to them.

Problem is Botters hate other Botters....................Seeing another botter just means you have to get rid of it so you can make more $$ ;)

It's not "the Chinese", they are much more efficient when it comes to abusing the AH than the average botter. It's people using add-ons such as APM which don't use intelligent undercutting.
