I've noticed a huge trend with suspensions, and it makes me wonder if Blizz somehow took profiles from here and used them to set up auto ban/suspension triggers. Seems like so many people are getting hit using profiles that have been around for a long time.

      Just a random thought.

That's somewhat plausible...though I doubt it has to do with the profiles more than the zones. Its probably a zone watch for areas they've been getting a ton of reports, and it could be a simple flag like Char X has been here for 5+ hours so you get banned while they check logs to determine if you were a bot or not.

All purely speculation until someone reverses warden to see what its actually looking at. I'm starting to think warden was merely re-obfuscated in preparation for WoD more than new flags/detections, I haven't changed my botting habits at all, but I'm also on a med. population server so I rarely see people where I bot. Note that I also havent used any of the profiles that have been seeing bans so your theory could hold water too.

Yep, exactly... pure speculation. I actually wrote this thread fairly late at night and forgot about it. To me it would kinda make sense, though, if they focus heavily on profiles that are available to the masses (like public farming profiles). There's technically nothing that could stop them from downloading them from here, opening the profile, and possibly cut/pasting the hotspots into some sort of auto trigger.

*Shrug* I dunno. Definitely don't want to feed the "fear" of Warden changes. It's just something that popped into my head while checking out the latest rise in suspensions that seem to be showing up on the ban report forum. I like your idea, too.

As it always goes, we won't know until we know. :)
