okay so i have been playing around with the idea to start a leveling bot (which would be my first bot). My job requires that i do a lot of my work at home and i was wondering what are the risks when using the bot if i were to be in sight of the game at all times. I realize some people might come back and say that there will always be risks.... but what im looking for is i guess is just opinions. I have been reading the forums and i know all of the little things like keeping the hours within reason and what not. Okay that's about it thanks !
Eh if you use questing then the risks are kinda low aslong as you don't get stuck use kick's profiles. Otherwise grinding but that's not recommended if you can supervise use questing ;p.
Using kicks profiles for questing like jordi said is probably the way to go and if the game is in sight then you will likely be able to fix the bot in the event that it gets stuck (it will, believe me it will). Even if it wasn't in sight the risk is still really low. I leveled a few 90's without supervising the bot at all without any trouble. However recently I have seen a rise in reports of bans while using kicks profiles. In addition yes there is always a risk, sometimes you can bot for 5 minutes and get a perm ban, other times you can bot for hours on end and get a 72 hour ban. So that risk is there but if you understand that then you are good to go!
