So today I got an email from blizzard informing me that my Wow license had been banned. For Use of Bots or Third-Party Automation Software. I was really shocked since I haven't used buddy or any other bot/hacks for 9+ months. I'm just writing this to try and see if other people have gotten banned today like so many others without having used any bots recently. From what I've read here on this forum and around on the web is that most people that have been banned today have botted recently. 1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Only honorbuddy 2)If so, when was the last time?: about 9 months ago 3)What profile were you using?: Different kick profiles 4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: hunter, shaman, paladin, dk. 5)What plugins are you using?: autoequip, talented 6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 4-6 6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? 80-90% 7)How many auctions per day did you have?: 0 8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? No 9)Was your account involved in gold selling? No 10)EU or US realm? EU 11)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? Actual paid account.
How is this possible? why would they ban you after 9 months! wtf.... that's the weirdest ban i ever seen, your account probably got hacked or something and they used bot and got you banned?
I'm fairly certain that I did not get hacked, I normally play for 10+ hours a day just afking in stormwind and I have not noticed anything weird or out of place on my account.
did you try to appeal? did u paused the game for 9 month or just the bot? if only bot paused: what did you do ingame?
delayed ban, when your account is frozen then the ban won't apply till you add gametime. you should have the logs since they probably weren't kept for that long.
