So, I've upgraded my account to Lifetime, however I've still got the Buddy group tag on my forum account. I was informed that access to certain blogs like Kick's alpha profiles was limited to lifetimers (even if due to a forum permission problem), so I upgraded to lifetime since I planned to eventually do so anyway. However it seems that since I was never moved over to the Lifetimer group, I still dont have access. Any supermods/admins able to fix this for me? Would be much appreciated.
I am not sure how the groups work, I have lifetime and can access kicks blog and such but my group shows as Honorbuddy's. I have bound my shop account I think, but not sure if it really matters what it shows as.
Well, its definitely a forum permission error. I tried rebinding my forum account to my shop account, but no luck there either.
i think you need to rebind your shop account to your forum account to be put in your new group edit: guess not edit 2; have you tried logging out and back in on your forum account after rebinding? i remember i had to do that the first time i bound my account for it to complete the binding
Oddly, it wasnt until I re-saved my profile *without* putting in my shop username/pass that it updated. I left the fields blank and it updated. Seems I'm good to go now.
