Mage or Hunter?

Hi, Im going to bot a class, but I cannot decide if I should be an Hunter or Mage?

What do you think?

 

Depends on the Custom Class IMO. I know Project E made leveling a mage a lot easier for me.

 

until 40 (some say 60) mages can be pretty bitter to level. hunters are easy at every level.

Mages are VERY squshy at low levels, been leveling one with Questing 1-60 Dwarf and its ok, but many deaths especially in Loch Morden aroubnd lev14

 

mage is better then hunter if u going to play pvp choose mage u wont be disapointed

 

Hunter by far is better to bot, but I find a mage is more fun to play, so it depends what you intend to do long term. If you are new to botting go with a hunter.

 

Can't really comment on mages, but I'm botting a hunter right now (currently 50, no heirlooms and crappy greens) and it's going pretty well using the default CC. The only real problems are that, due to using disengage and strafing away from the mob when pulling aggro, adds are common - and the pet doesn't pick them up. Less of an issue from 40 onwards when you can train Thunderstomp (aoe) for your pet.

If you have heirlooms it should be a breeze.

 

I'm doing a mage right now, and since they fixed spirit on casters, it's not that bad. Though I still die a lot like I did on my druid -.-.

I recommend Mage just because of Project-E.

 

well, i know a lot of people are saying, do a mage, Project e, but i think at least at that Mephiles will do better. just because it now offers the flexibility to customize whats going on at low levels, hopefully changing what spells are used, will hopefully result in much better results.


Edit: HawkEye2 is in the works now, im hoping to have at least a Full BM Version in a Week or so.

 

I'm too use to thinking Project-E... ahhh.
