Might get banned

Hello! I left my bot open last night to farm SkyShards for Alani and when i woke up this morning i saw two messages that said "botting". What are the chances of me getting banned and what should i do from now on? Stop botting for a while?

 

This is common, people just trying to frighten you.
Nothing has actually happend to me.

 

dont worry ignore them they probbly where doing the same thing get the addon badboy and turn it on lvl 90 so they cant whisper u report them back if u think they did it with you

 

If you have had previous bans (for various reasons) earlier, you should be careful though, Blizzard tends to check flagged accounts more often.

if your scared then dont bot its simple as that.. dont make a thread that your scared of being reported thats just the risks of botting period

 

You should not leave such thing on, over night. thats obvious -.- Increases the risk of you being banned imo. Its not smart, if you care about your account.
I am never doing such things, unless I am at the computer, or close to it, checking in on it every now and then.

Anyways, never been called a botter in-game.
BUt I don't think that you nessesarely will be banned. but theres always a chance tho.
Maybe your account gets flagged.

if you play the account as normal then blizz wont care, when they get to the report chances are youll be offline or playing normal so i wouldnt worry

i do it on my main every now and again,


badboy addon works wonders - change it to max level so no one can whisper you plus half time people say botter because your getting all their mobs

 

It means that your account has been banned or suspended before so your account if flagged. If you get reported again and Blizzard looks into it and they see you already have been banned before you will get a more heavy punishment (a longer ban) or a permanent ban.

 

Well, that they saves the "data" they get on you. And if they get enought proof, for the accusements. They will bann you, most likely.


I was banned back in the WoWGlider days(Not that it was a really good, and non robot like bot tho)
But then again, I was doing alot of stuff that I could get banned for back then. So I am not 100% sure that it was the botting, that got me banned in those days.
