Heya everyone! Well I got kinda tired of Demonology mostly because I didn't really like using it in pvp. So I started to work on an Affliction CC. This will start out by using Haunt, then use Curse of Agony, then use Corruption, the use Unstable Affliction, then use Dark Pact, then use Death Coil (if it is not on Cooldown). Then depending on the tragets life it will either use Searing Pain, Shadow Bolt, Life Drain, or Soul Drain. If you do not have Haunt or Unstable Affliction yet it will just use the Curses, Death Pact (if you have it), Death Coil (if you have it), then use Searing Pain and Shadow Bolt, then depending on the targets health it will use Life drain, or Soul drain. Right now it will use the Voidwalker just because the Voidwalker is the best at holding aggro when you don't have a felguard! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CREDITS: I have to give credits to hawker for his demonology CC as a backbone for this CC. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Things to add in the next realse: Consume Shadows and Sacrifice. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please leave any feedback, good or bad so I can know how to improve the CC. I have been using this from 1-65 right now and I am going to be adding new spells and goodies as my guy levels and all of that. Quick note that this CC does NOT use Spellstone's or Firestone's just because of the Need Soulstone problem that had happened in other Demonology versions. hey hey there! i'm having a fairly huge problem. i'm currently level 14 and am using this CC, runs great and all - However, this is the rotation it's using 'Curse of Agony -> Corruption -> Shadow Bolt -> Drain Life -> Drain Soul' It uses Drain Soul even tho it's got 4 shards and then gets 5 after the mob is dead, and deletes the shard. And since i am using heirloom items the mobs tend to go down pretty fast thus ending up in 'it' having to cancel Drain Life midways to use Drain Soul which wastes alot of mana and some hp which could go to using Lifetap and then only to end up deleting the soulshard. Summary: Please do so he only uses Drain Soul incase he doesn't have maximum soul shards (in this case, 4.) otherwise do another Drain Life or something. *posting it here in this new forum aswell*
well it does that just so it makes sure it has the maximum shards, the mana shouldn't be a big problem, especially since you are using heirloom's. It will use Lifetap if you are below 50% mana, so I don't know why it would be a big deal, but I can fix this in the next realease I guess. =)
.. well it kinda is a big deal because when he uses Lifetap he exchanges HP for Mana. Then goes into combat with the HP he had after the Life tap, uses the rotation etc etc and cancels the Life Drain halfways to start channeling Drain Soul. This makes him not be able to recover all the lost HP from the Life tap which he used before the combat. Eventually he'll be about 65% HP and 50% Mana and will engage another mob and after that combat he'll be at maybe ~60% HP and 25% Mana which means he has to life tap until he's at 50% mana again thus making him have to sacrifice like 25% HP which means he has to stand and regenerate for like 5-10 seconds before moving on to the next mob. Then it gets repeated. Hope you understand what I mean. If not, tell me so I can clarify it =P. (English is not my maiden language.)
Well once you get into the higher levels this is not a problem, I have had my lock running this for almost 2 days straight now and he hasn't even used 1 stack of his Purifyed Draenic Water or his Smoked Talbuk Venison. I will be able to fix this in the next version probably since it seems to be a big issue for you.
Yeah, sounds good, thanks! It probably won't be an issue at higher levels when mobs have higher HP. But at the moment - they have fairly low HP compared to how fast I nuke them down.
Yah once you hit the 40-50's and so on it isn't a big deal at all, but I am sure I can whip up a solution for this!
sounds great! i just put two points in 'Improved Drain Soul' which decreased the downtime by couple of seconds.

Awesome, Working charm! But, The only thing that the problem is My toon dosen't use the Soulstone, He don't create Soulstone. Please add some feature like using Bandages and Sacrifice. Thank you
Alchemist fixed that problem, so you might want to take a look at it.. It's available in the old forum. I'm using Hawker's Demo Warlock CC (fixed by Alchemist) and it's working amazingly

Yes I have looked at it and I am considering adding it, I am just working on other spells to be added and I will probably add SS into the next release.
Woop woop, sounds awesome Mike And while you're at it.. Could you perhaps add a switch for Succubus and Felhunter? I usually spec Imp. Felhunter, it fits with my drain-tank playstyle and it's a drag i can't use the bot the same way :/ If you need help with theory/rotations, PM me.
