      Hi Guys,
I must be doing it wrong but I find mining isn't making me anywhere near what herbalism is.

AH prices on saronite are cheaper then just making it into bars and selling to vendor.

Wondering if anyone would mind giving me some hints / tips on what you do with mining to make gold.

      AH raw ore?
      Vendor bars?
      Prospect sell gems?
Prospect make green JC rings and DE?

It all depends on a server.
      thats free money!
As I said it all depends on your server. Observe and experiment wtih your economy and do what sells best.

Depends a lot on server, faction, raid progression, time of day, and day of the week. Weekends tend to have higher prices, either from more people playing the AH on weekends, or more people buying stuff on weekends, probably a bit of both.

My server the ore doesnt sell as well as the bars do, except for Titanium ore, jewelcrafters pay a fortune for that to prospect. Also, if titanium BARS sell well, consider leveling up an alchemist. You can turn saronite bars into titanium bars, and if you go transmute spec, you can turn a single blue gem into 2 or more Epic gems. Jewelcrafting and Alchemy on an alt could help you a lot, literally turn your junk into gold.

But, it may be easier just to farm herbs. I like doing ore, as when i smelt it it takes up less gbank space.
