Mr. Tony You have closed a thread i opened, i have q question concerning, a false positive virus error. Quote: set5 exception on your antivirus its a false positive case What is set5 exception ? Sorry to bother, but i find it odd, that the error occures after a HB update, should be a walk in the park Yours sincerely Gasmester
might be a typo, the 5 is right above the T. i do it all the time. but hey, might be secret botter code, who knows.
Hi, Gasmester, Indeed, its a typo. Tony is just telling you to make Honorbuddy an exception to your Antivirus program. If you are worried about a Virus, it is best to run the item under consideration against a wide-band virus detector like VirusTotal - Free Online Virus, Malware and URL Scanner. It is normal to have 5-6 false positives against the 50 or so tests it conducts. cheers, chinajade
You can Google for this information, or use the Antivirus' built-in help system to find the instructions. The instructions are different for every AV package. cheers, chinajade
Honorbuddy the Bot for World of Warcraft is in the exceptions in the firewall should i add updates.buddyauth.com aswell or is it aomething else, that triggers the virus program ?
The viruses you're seeing pop up are false-positives. You'll need to set an exception in your Anti-virus for the folder you have HonorBuddy installed in. These are needed to inject the hacks into the game client allowing it to take control. Do not fear, these viruses do nothing, as I said, they're false positives. Continue botting.
Hey Guys Thx for fast replies. It took me some time, to find the way to do it. but now it seems to Work. The question now ought to be: Why does the virus program do this, i have been botting for a year or more, with the same antivirus program? But anyway, you Guys rock, have a great holliday
Make sure you only download it from official channels and not from other people's links/post to ensure you have the right version as well.
