Sooo I started over like a month ago (since old acc banned etc.)

I have enough dust for 1 legendary and enough gold for either wing 2 of the first adventure (undead one) or 8 packs of cards...

Am I better off taking my chances with packs since there are some critical legendaries to get? (Boom, ysera, etc?)

Which legendaries are best for running the bot on? I currently run a mech mage deck that usually does about 56% win rate in casual play. It's the one recommended here but since I can't get the default routine replaced it doesn't do awesome. https://www.thebuddyforum.com/heart...ddy-guides/201224-rank-9-cheap-mage-deck.html

Just looking for recommendations. Don't mind breaking other cards down if it will bump my win ratio.

Personally the legendaries that I use the most are Boom, Loatheb, Brann and Emp. But i'm a sucker for hand-lock.

It is really down to personal preference on what decks you like to play with. Dr. Boom is kind of a no-brainer though in my opinion.

For a better win percentage, yeah legendaries will help for sure. However, my mech-mage deck I used to farm 500 ranked wins/gold with didn't have any legendaries at all. I made a new account and within a few days I was able to build the deck. It's nothing special at all, just a budget mech-mage. I usually had 95-100% win rate whenever I botted (I only botted 30 wins a day, and reset the stats after each session) at rank 20.

My advice to you is definitely to craft Dr. Boom, since he'll single-handedly make any deck better :p

I'll write down the deck I used to farm 500 wins with (again, it's nothing special at all, if you have better cards, use them!):

      (Extreme) Budget Mech-mage:

      Clockwork Gnome x2
      Cogmaster x2
      Frostbolt x2
      Annoy-o-Tron x2
      Mechwarper x2
      Snowchugger x2
      Arcane Intellect
      Harvest Golem x2
      Spider Tank x2
      Tinkertown Technician x2
      Fireball x2
      Goblin Blastmage x2
      Mechanical Yeti x2
      Piloted Shredder x2
      Argent Commander
      Flamestrike
      Force-Tank MAX

Again, this was used to farm rank 20. I don't know how well this deck would do in casual mode, which you seem to play. I honestly haven't played casual mode since season 1, so I don't know what decks are played there :p

I have most of those cards Eric, but is r20 farming easier? I only didn't do that because last time I did it I ended up banned after a few months and would rather avoid that :) of course you can get banned anytime, just figured casual might reduce the chances.

Edit. Didn't have an argent commander so I put in foe reaper 4k for the hell of it :)

I haven't really botted HS that much (only 500 wins with mage and 480 wins with warlock, so far) and like I mentioned I only bot 30 wins a day. If you don't care about the golden portraits, maybe casual is better. Though people at rank 20 usually have the same type of decks that people use in casual, except some people use casual mode to experiment with new decks. By only farming at rank 20 you're almost guaranteed to face new players with mediocre decks (except at the start of a new season of course). Also, (new) people at rank 20 probably won't know you're botting, since they may not be that familiar with the game yet, which may result in a smaller chance of being banned. :p

So that's basically why I prefer botting at rank 20, rather than in casual mode. :)
