What it is
-A Questing Profile

-A Profile that you hit start, walk away and come back a little while later with a boatload of new achievements.
-A Profile that can get you a new titles and some achievement points.

What is the Questing Profile Progress Bar?
I have decided to keep an accurate and up to date progress bar on my current task so anyone tracking this project will be able to know when and large new updates have occurred. Most of the time these will not be automatically inserted into the SVN as each profile is completed, but when every profile is complete with the newest task. The Questing Profile Progress Bar I have added to the top is currently tracking the overall progress of how many zones are complete. Unlike most tasks, these will be updated to the SVN as they are completed.

What will happen to the current profiles?
The current profiles will be moved to an archive inside of the SVN. Whether or not it will be included by default is a decision I have not yet made. As of right now I don't plan on improving the old profiles to incorporate better pathing for herbing and mining, nor do I currently plan on trying to make it afkable at this time. If you have a preference on the survival of these old profiles please voice your opinion here, otherwise its a game of Russian Roulette on how I'm feeling the day I make my decision. Please note that these files are currently not found in the SVN. Unless there are some good reasons to include them, I believe they are only going to cause more problems keeping them around then forcing everyone into the newest edition.

How to use it
Load a profile for the zone you are in. Make sure you have disabled mining and herbing in the bot. Please note that this is an ALPHA release and the profiles do not switch yet.

Reporting a Bug:
If you encounter a bug I am going to need some information to fix it, as does every developer. What I would like from you is:
Bug Description: (Profile not loading, Stuck, Crashing, Dieing, whatever the bug is.)
Coordinates: (Stuck/Crashing/Dieing/etc. Need the HB coordinates. Gotten from the Developer Tools window.)
Log: (Yes, I need an attached log.)

Fixed a few hotspot errors, released a Kalimdor beta test. To AFK explore Kalimdor you must first start with Durotar.xml. This will not remain like this, there will be an auto-loader.

Uploaded a complete, tested, and fully functional MoP set of profiles. Now that this is complete and tested more time can be spent finishing the other missing profiles before entering into more advanced profile features.

Completed converting all the GB2 profiles into Questing profiles. Rewrote a few hotspots, removed a few stuck points.

Added wickedclowns187's profiles, he had mapped a ton of these zones using Zap's recorder so all of these routes are in theory mining and herbing capable routes. We would like some extensive testing on all of these profiles so people can help us figure out where any mistakes have been made. We are working diligently to add more profiles to be tested.

i have coded and tested a bunch of this myself if you would like i could send you the xmls i have made and maybe that will save you some time i have everything but 2 done in kalimdor i have a complete outlands done i have everything but 1 zone in eastern kingdoms and everything but 2 zones in northrend i would be glad to share them with you and they all support mining and herbing between discoveries. if you would like to test them id gladly provide them for you so you can save alot of time

Hey Wicked that would be great, it would definitely help me complete this project and I could add you to the project name or list you under on the created by line. Or both, a donation that big would be more like a co-designer.

Also, if anyone who has messed around with making profiles switch once they are completed could drop me a pm with an example of how to and maybe some good notes in the code so I can learn from it that would be much appreciated.

Thanks we will check these out and see how they do we have 98 percent of it done working on svn right now to link up and we should be good to go we may have to use your northrend if we do we will make sure to include you into the project with us should be on the site withing hour or so we look forward to any feed back on the profiles if theres any nodes it does not get please let us know and we will code them in we are not perfect at what we do but we will update everything that we see that needs it

thank you dark57 for setting up everything any nodes anyone sees that a profile does not complete please let us know and i will add the nodes as soon as possible

 

this is up and working nowwe just need people to test it all and then we will try to configure everything into one giant profile that does everywhere

 

This is being updated, I am working on optimizing some of the routes.

 

The icecrown profile works perfectly until reaching the Onslaught Harbour. It'll get stuck just outside the harbour, flying around itself.

Bump, we need more testers. Even if its just one profile it helps a lot.

 

Deepholm is currently being coded and reviewed for any apparent glitches and should be up before the end of the week. The reason it will take so long is that I am also working on optimizing these paths for use with a Questing profile, this will allow greater flexibility in what I can do with a quest order if I understand the XML profile writing commands they are using.

This will allow me to re-write the profiles so that it properly enters and exits each zone and crosses continents and portals so you can turn it on as you go to sleep! I also plan on attempting to add a smart profile changer if Honorbuddy has the functionality. I may dabble with a plugin to handle this if a questing profile cannot detect achievements but that's only a maybe.
