New to HB - need advice on profiles, botbases, plugins etc

Hi Guys,
I am a brand spanking n00b with a new HB key and a new WoW account. I would appreciate any advice on what Profiles, Botbases, Plugins etc to use to level via questing and gathering on Alliance. Also, is any class easier to use with HB?

Main goal of this account is to number of level 90 (and eventually to 100) toons to mainly feed the main account with mats. If possible, I will also use the bot account to gear up and do things like raiding or visiting old content. I missed a chunk of MOP in the middle. So on my main account, most of my toons have ilvl 490 gear. Since it will be replaced soon, I have not bothered with upgrading them. So whatever I missed in MOP, I would like to do on my gear bot account's toons.

For questing get Kickz 1-90 profiles from the store they are free , but whenever you are running any of these questing profiles make sure to babysit your char because sometimes it can get stuck and if any other player sees you they might report you , when you have enough max level chars use profbuddy to learn level whatever profs you want , you can find many profiles on the forums here , there are some awesome plugins for gathering profs like rndbuddy and the tramper gather that does not use profiles to greatly reduce the chance of being caught by blizz movement detection system , crafting profs gonna need to have all the mats in your bags , some profiles use the AH and buy the mats , use these if you have a good amount of gold otherwise just farm the mats with HB , if you want to use dungeonbuddy to run dungeons never bot as a tank because players are gonna be following you through the dungeon and they might notice the bot-like behavior and report you , you either use dungeonbuddy as a healer or dps because you will be following the tank everywhere , about gearing just go to the timeless isle withing 15 minutes you will have full 496 gear , and that's sums it all I guess , have fun

 

Thanks for the quick response. So just to be clear - don't worry about gathering (mining, herb, skinning) till max level. Just quest or dungeon (as a healer or dps) till max level, then run gathering profiles to level gathering.

Do I need to pick any botbase, combat routines, plugins that would make leveling easier or I worry about them when I hit max level?

 

I leveled all my chars with the default combat routines (Singular) , but there are many on the buddy store , if you want to use these my advice is TuanHA free routines , they are good for leveling , plugins I used LogMeOut which logs you out of the game when something specified occurs , or example : {Log me out after xxx minutes , log me out if GM whispers , log me out if stuck count = x} , and I used WatchMyChat or something this plugin will make a loud noise or peep sound when someone whispers you which is very useful for the annoying players who will follow you around and whisper you to see if you are a bot or not , you should use these during leveling , when you hit max level there are a lot of plugins to help you with proffs and end game just take a look around the forum :] and sorry for my horrible English , have fun .

 

If you are gonna do a lot of farming for mats etc it's risky to do on ur main account. I know ur new but u don't wanna level 11 toons to 100 have epic raid gear and 18000 achieve points and then get banned for forming mats, I'm not saying don't bot on ur main account I use raid cc's without any troube for years but farming is high risk.

@Dart01902: I was planning on botting on a separate account and use it to gather mats for the main account. I have a banker toon on main acct with a guild. I am planning on adding my bot acct's toon be a member of the same guild so I can use guild bank to swap mats. Let me know if I am in error.

What is Raid CC's? And you use them on your main account?

 

I use YRB for my hunter, fury unleashed for my prot/fury warrior and pure on my prot pally all heroic (mythic) geared now and yes that's on my main account.

 

i tho kick's 1-90 quest doesnt work anymore or is it just me?

Questing for Alliance
Questing 1-90: Kicks Profiles

Plugins: Mr. Item Remover v2
There's a lot more plugins that you can choose if you want but for questing you really don't need any plugins. HB does all that for you.

Botbase: Questing Buddy (Comes with HB already)

Class: Pretty much any class, but right now since there was a new patch, lot's of CC's are broken and singular is broken with some classes. If I were you I would stick with using the Singular out of the box that comes with HB for now till things get fixed.

above all else, read read read. the community respects self motivation. go try to figure things out of your own first, search the forums. for a better search, use google 'honorbuddy+your question' will get better results than using the provided search here on the forums.
