      ***NOTICE OF LICENSE TERMINATION***

      Account: *****
Offense: Use of Bots or Third-Party Automation Software

Blizzard has terminated this World of Warcraft license after identifying the usage of bots or other cheat software.

These programs (commonly called cheats, bots, and hacks) automate certain aspects of gameplay, or provide unintended advantages and abilities to the player. This type of cheating undermines other players' experience and severely upsets the balance of the game environment.

Blizzard reserves the right to terminate access for conduct of this nature, with or without warning, as noted in the World of Warcraft Terms of Use:
Blizzard Entertainment:World of Warcraft Terms of Use

This page contains details on how suspensions are appealed and reviewed:

      Regards,
      Blizzard Entertainment

I have not used the bot since the 72 hour suspension. I was standing in Pandaria, got logged out and when it popped back up, it was banned.

Appeal, if you didn't use the bot as you claim you should be unbanned.

I've used the bot, just not since the 72 hour suspension I received about 2 weeks ago. Blizzard regularly stockpiles reports and bans days or even weeks after the reports are submitted.

I've appealed the ban. I'm just waiting for Blizzard to respond. I don't think I'll get the account back, which is a shame because it's my main/only account.

Well, I am pretty sure if you haven't been botting the account after the actual suspension, it's a mistake on Blizzard end and you should appeal the permaban. As I've already read, they can accept their mistake and unban the account. Also if I were you I would never ever bot my main account. Hell, I would never even merge the botting account to the battle.net account on which my main account is.

      So, here's the follow up.

This is the latest response from Customer Support:
      Greetings,

An additional review of the action has been completed. We have confirmed our initial findings, and the action will not be reversed or changed.

We understand that you may still have concerns regarding the action, but we must reiterate that it was taken to address a violation of the Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (Blizzard Entertainment:Blizzard Legal Documentation), which all players accept before logging into the game.

We understand that these policies may seem harsh, but they are in place to ensure that every player is able to enjoy their time in our games. Thank you for respecting our position.

So, my question now is: I've read that numerous people have been able to continue to appeal and eventually get it overturned, sometimes taking months. Does anyone have experience with this or would anyone be willing to give some advice on next steps?
