SOrry fr being a retard ehre -- but if ibought the cheap game backs from bliiz (vanilla, BC wotlk) do i have to activate it right away or can i do it anytime (i'm assuming to get "some" gametime with them)

 

digital will be put into your acct automatically, so unless you have them mailed to you then yes, it will be activated right away.

Oh, you can "gift" it to yourself and get the keys I believe

 

so if i gift it to myself -- i cna then activate them when I like?

I (don't quote me on this) believe that you can gift just the key

 

just looked after it... vanilla can be gifted as key, bc and wotlk seem to be boxed only

 

Lame. well the good news is that you can gift the vanilla keys and have extra gold trading accounts and a dormant "officer of guild" account (in case you get perma banned)
