      After taking a look at a Livestream video post, I took a look around the Livestream site and found a live video of the oil spill. I 've had it minmized on my desktop for a few hour's while working at my computer, and to be honest they dont seem to be doing alot to fix it.

      Link==> http://www.livestream.com/wkrg_oil_spill

      There is Gazillions of crude spewing out this well and it has totaly decimated the area and its only going to get worse.The Gulf of Mexico was a major fishing area until the spill but fishing is now prohibited in the area. why is it that where ever there are oil companys the is total and uter destruction.

      Tell me about it. I go to school in New Orleans (Tulane) and we're worried about a hurricane blowing all of the oil inland.

      Why deep water oil drilling don't have the same level of safety than nuclear power plant ? It's seems that the disaster his huge compared to the rather small amount of money it needs to check what the oil companies are doing...

      LoL, what do YOU think should be done? it is easy for people to say "Just fix it" or "Plug the Damn Hole" But it isn't quite that easy. I hate the fact that the crap is spilling over into the gulf. (I live in FL Panhandle) But the fact is they ARE trying to fix it. It just isn't as easy as people think it is. Do you think BP wants their money pumping into the ocean? NO. They are doing everything they can think of to do it. Unfortunately, "Oil Rig Plugs" aren't sold at the local Wal-Mart. These have to be constructed before they can be implemented. This is a unique situation that requires unique equipment.

      Evidence proves BP was cutting corners, if they as one of the largest producers of oil cannot fix this problem then who can. It takes a disaster and a global recession to kick people in the ass to find alternatives to oil, unfortunately we are a long way of of finding a viable source to power the millions of vehicles and factories that rely on oil products.

      I thought they had stopped the oilleak. But heck, i'm from Sweden, don't know so much about the oilleak. Except it's BP who has fucked up, and Obama is pissed at them.

      They actually aren't. Their "top kill" was a failure and they don't have many other plausible ideas.

      It seems this won't be over until the sea floor collapses.

      The oil spill pisses me off so damn much, don't even get me started. How in the hell is BP ingenious enough to soak up as much of the market as they do, and make as many profits as they do, and yet they can't fix their problem? I mean, I understand that a a portion of my anger is a bit irrational, sometimes problems that are as complex as an oil well leaking at the bottom of the gulf aren't solvable, but I'm still mad as a hornet about it. If my children can't go down to Corpus Christi and step on a Jellyfish because there aren't any left in the gulf, I'm gonna be pissed.

      I was watching a video on i think it was CNN online on the engineering and what they are doing now and how its working but they just cant cap it straight away because its coming out too fast obviously, but this shouldn't have happened in the first place. They should have had plans as to what they would do if this would ever happened...

      Nope, they've tried a bunch of methods, nothing has worked yet. The only surefire way to fix it is to drill relief wells, but those take months.

      I don't think you know which country BP comes from. BP = British Petroleum. Do you mean the US deserves to have their eco system destroyed like that? If that's the case that's a pretty crude comment, but you're entitled to your opinion.

      Doesn't bother me, that's life. Has about the same affect as a volcanic erruption, so, I see no point in whining massively about it. Life goes on.

      You'd have to be an idiot to think they aren't trying to fix an oil spill that leaks over a million gallons a day, that's a crap load of money being lost.
