I was hit by the ban wave of 5/2015. Just now got my account back, my question now is is it safe? I use the bot because I suffer from a couple of disabilitys. (I find it funny Blizzard wants to talk about a "fair and even playing field for users, but forgets about the disabled) If I ran HB in just guild runs and LFG (As a healer) how safe is that? Running no other bots but dungeon buddy? What steps can I take to give my main the best chance of surviving and not getting hit again (for the last time I guess) ? I am real here, please don't troll on me. I really am trying to learn

use a second account for bot bases that move your character and do most of the controlling, using the combat routine only should be fine.

I believe there are people who play the game disabled without botting, perhaps you could research into that?

Botting is not safe. It never was. It never will be.

Real nice there ace! Asked a simple question..even said I was reasonably new..and here you go trying to make yourself look all big and bad and start the screams and all. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth? Go troll elsewhere little man....there is something missing in your head to just want to attack for no reason. Remember your meds are your friends..take them!

Are you new to the internet?

      Have you used forums before?

Are you not aware of the search function which is designed to help you search for answers to your questions?

You sure type well for a guy with 'disabilities'.

Well it takes me sometime, but I do get the job done. Ever heard of Multiple sclerosis & Parkinson's disease? I suffer with both. This is the problem trying to play. I can not get my hands to move quick enough between mouse & keyboard or if it is quick enough there is no promise I am going to hit the right key or press the right button. Seeing as I do not know anyone here it would benifit me nothing to lie. And in fact I am looking for something to belong to, it would better server me to be honest. Because sooner or later with how things are progressing I would loosethe ability to remember if I lied to start with. Plain but simple truth..it keeps me honest :)

I find it amazing you can type the length of sentences with MS and Parkinsons. If it is such an issue maybe stop drabbling on and do your research on forums now to find your answers would be a lot easier than replying 10 more times to people commenting back if you need to bot in the first place due to your disability this surely wouldn't be doing you any favours? anyway say whatever just putting it out there.

Quit the attitude and flaming already. Give the guy a break.

If you don't want to answer his questions, just ignore the post and move on. Anubite said it, actually: "it will never end", so just stop.

Eigoteacher: The last line really wasn't necessary. You didn't know what kind of disability he has at the time of posting. You are implying that if we can't compete in WoW because of a disability, then he shouldn't be able to type a forum post (really, it takes one key press, move finger and press the next), spell words correctly nor know grammar, either. I get your logic - both involves using a keyboard. D'oh, Sheldon.

The stupidity and childishness is strong in that one. Just quit the attitude, please.

Now, just flame me. It's fine. Just make sure you understand what I wrote above ^

It's not childish. I believe OP uses his disability to rationalize botting. I guarantee there are other players who are disabled who play the game without botting. I do not agree with someone who uses their disability to rationalize their botting. It's the lazy way out. People bot because they are lazy, enough said.

The fact is, if he can type out forum posts, I am sure he can type out his question in the search box and find the answer. I am sure he can search on Google for help to play WoW with disabilities that doesn't require botting.

Using disabilities as an excuse trivializes their suffering. Actually, I find it insulting.

I find you insulting. My wife has MS and after about 15 minutes of hand playing her hands cramp up. That *is* the only reason she uses HB. People still want to 'play' with friends they made before getting things like MS. Me? I bot because i can but don't dare assume that everyone with disabilities has the same degree or the same kind of disability. There are various forms of MS, Maybe do some searching on google yourself eh?

As to OP. Just using CRs to raid etc is just as safe as questing etc. Meaning it's never truly safe.
