Okay this is a long and adventurous story I thought I would share with the community. Around a year ago, me and 3 other friends decided to dig into the challenge modes. Long story short we got so good that we started selling gold boosts, gold boosts became eventually into real money boosts. In order to recruit new players to get boosted I was spamming in trade chat on my main account (naive me) and at some point I became frustrated by the players whispering me for a specific price while I was sending them to my skype account. Therefore I told one guy an actual real money price over the wow chat. He did not seem so excited for it and therefore after I while I was afraid he would report me for boosting for real money. The story isnt completed here, around 6 months before this, I had leveled 85-90 6 characters as well as full decked them in pvp gear using honorbuddy. I would run these chars mostly while sleeping and being in university classes, roughly 12-14 hours a day while the rest of the day I would be playing on and off. After about 2 weeks of boosting challenge modes, at some point in one night I got perma banned. Being only banned once before for extensive verbal abuse S), I was pretty destroyed by this since this was my main account and it had all my 90lvl as well as 500+days played by me. At once I opened a ticket explaining that I was boosting for gold only challenge modes and that nothing was wrong with my account. Couple of hours later, I had received the final ticket from a GM stating, That they thought I had been flagged for botting, while I was apparently not and due to the fact that I play from US IP on EU servers their scripts were triggered... Lets just say WTF? I will upload the log of the ticket for all of you to read and giggle a bit! Hope you enjoyed my short story and hope that the Tripwire gets removed asap!!! when glider was around they were pretty funny.. esp Zarborough the GM he had some funny stuff going like knock knock jokes before he gave you the ban hammer....
