[Order Bot] Heavensward Sightseeing Log

This will NOT work AFK!

What will this do?
It will teleport, fly, dismount and /lookout, /pray or /doze where needed.

What won't this do?
Land! You will have to manually land on each location, by default you have 30 seconds to do so.

Requirements:
- ExBuddy (SVN at https://github.com/MGramolini/ExBuddy/trunk/ExBuddy)
- Be able to fly in each zone.
- Have the sightseeing log unlocked (go talk to Kester Ironheart on the wooden bridge in Tailfeather if you haven't).

Known Issues:
- There's no way to track the progress, so each time you stop/start the bot it will go back to the first vista even if it's done already.
- Vista #40 (blue orb/sphere thingie) is impossible to land on, you will have to land next to it, dismount and jump on.
- There may be a slight stuck in Sea of Clouds moving between 2 points, but a simple nudge should fix it.

Good to know:
- Each zone has 7 vistas, they are done in order (except Dravinian Forelands). You can disable zones you have done or don't have flying for yet in the profile.
- You can change the delay to land in the profile as well, 30 seconds might be long, but keep in mind some places can be tricky to land on even manually.
- For each vista you get 18k experience.
- You need to do this on a DoW/DoM class.

I might, though it probably won't happen soon. There doesn't seem to be to much interest in this (only 13 downloads) and I don't really need it either. I will fix the Dravinian Hinterlands part as it uses the Goodly Adventurer to get out of Idyllshire.

Right now it probably isn't working as it relies on ExBuddy (enableflight) and that hasn't been updated for 3.1 afaik.

 

True. Just happened to be browsing around and this caught my eye. Since I had a browser tab open, I figured I'd throw that out there. Tbh this stuff is great xp for an alt job. 18000 per, and if it's up to 62 vistas... 1.1 million xp. Assuming you unlocked all of flying stuff on your first to 60, your next one could cruise around and really take it in

 

Updated so it doesn't use the Goodly Adventurer anymore, it just runs out now.

Second that: very useful. I've just had to remove all Dismount commands for the profile to work in 4.0 Bloodstorm. So you need to both land and dismount manually (not that a big hurdle).

As for the Realm Reborn version. I've looked into it, just because I will never be able to do this achiev manually. Problem is: you will probably need a manual navigation too, since vista spots are in hard-to-reach places. But in RR case there is also the unpredictability of the weather on top of eorzean time reqs: you can't tell beforehand for how long you'll need to sit and stare on an idle toon, until both time and weather are in sync. Or can you? Is there any way to predict: manual intervention will be needed in 25 minutes?..

I would even like an app for iPhone (similar to EorzeaTime) which will just buzz me a minute before the conditions are met.

 

I think there is, the sky watcher plugin that is typically used for fishing I think could somehow be tied in to make it work, it'd be a heck of a lot of work though and I've been using a forum to slowly make my check list of places that I've done in ARR. It does seem there is some automated system. I've seen some logs as long as 3-4days out till next time it can be completed under that weather condition. Crazy... But I think if the bot was going 24/7 I would like to see some implementation that could read this, move you there and then use the command.
