Questing 1-81. PetBattles 81-90. Played time: 5days 11hours 40minutes. This is alot of time to be honest considering the potential. I even heard succes stories on 3 days but considering the problems with faulty mailbox interactions and odd AFK/getting stuck on routes it's pretty good even though I spent a great deal monitoring atleast half the process. The Setup: - The Toon - I was playing a Night Elf Hunter with Beastmastery. - Questing software/plugins - I was using HonorBuddy on Quest-mode with Kick's 1-90 leveling Profile AND Cava's profile. I used Kick's til level 55...ish and Switched to Cava til level 81. - Pet Battle setup - PokéBuddy and Battle Pet Swapper and ZapRecorder(for making my own profiles). Experimented with GatherBuddy and GrindBuddy bot-base but I think GrindBuddy worked best. - BattlePets - I got myself some pets on my main: Kun-Lai runt(uncommon), Warpstalker Hatchling(Uncommon), 2xArcane Eye(Uncommon), 2xDragonbone Hatchling I'll wait for about a month, in case I'd get big brother on me, til I will try to level a mage with the same methods that would vamp the playtime considerably, These are the levels I reached when a problem occured and how I solved them: 12, 16, 26: Getting stuck and killed repeatedly in Deadwind Pass. I'm pretty sure this was connected to the mailbox issues people had as I monitored the bot trying to get to the mail, failing, and going to another mailbox, which seemed to be in Swamp of Sorrows. 32: Stranglethorn Vale - Quest Raptor Prowess. I don't remember correctly cause my notes only mentions the quest so either this was yet another trip to Deadwind Pass or I just had to complete it manually.80% sure it was Deadwind Pass again. Forcing the bot to NOT mail alltogether solved it, I just had to check on his bags every now and then. 51: Burning Steppes - during the Quests I Am the Law and I Am the Lash & Abuse of Power I just HAD to complete these myself cause he kept losing his disguise and afterwards he'd just pull everything like a maniac. Good thing I caught this while I was monitoring. 60: Hellfire - when trying to turn in the Quest Unyielding Souls I had to turn in manually cause If I'm flying I get stuck above the tower in which the NPC is residing. 62: Hellfire - Arzeth's Demise my notes just say "standing on bad spot". If I recall correctly the character freezes at a spot where the wanted NPC patrols to. Might need to change it to the spawn point or atleast BETWEEN the spot you're camping and the spawnpoint. Don't think this is a bad thing but it takes way longer if other people keeps tagging him which is what happened. 80: Stormpeaks - During quest Pieces to the Puzzle. I'm pretty sure this was EXTREMELY bad luck. But for probably 4 hours the character was running mindlessly into a big "box/pillar" with the aproximate width of the inn in Goldshire at the north end of this quest-area cause one of the NPC seemed to be stuck inside there since he atleast had it targeted. There's a chance the NPC was BENEATH him and standing still since the angle was rather straight, else he would've eventually slipped through either sides of this big box-/pillar-object. 81-90: Pet battles! The issues here where many so I'm gonna subject each and every one of them: - Not just getting unnecessary agro, but snowballing it by pulling EXTRA - This is what forced me to make my own profiles right off the bat which on it's own was a challenge, I would've not made level 90 at all otherwise since Cava doesn't guarantee anything beyond lvl81 and I sure as hell wasn't gonna rely on it and I guess I was too stupid/lazy to trust Kick's to jump between the profiles since Kick had 1 profile for 1-12 and 12-58 but supposedly a profile for every 2-3 levels beyond 81 which might've put the bot AFK and look suspicious. The challenge was to make blackspots that not only gets ignored but also makes the bot realize that it's not a place for picnics or a sunday-stroll. The 1st thing I did was reducing the engage range in PokéBuddy from 300 to 60 (yards?). The 2nd thing was making my own Blackspots with a 60 yards radius when the default setting is 20. The 3rd thing I did was putting my own hotspots ~60 yards away from the blackspots. Which by now would reduce the death-rating by about 45%. The 4th thing I did, for another 45% reduced death, was blacklisting some pets I didn't want to fight in the first place and they where usually close to angry mobs or otherwise bad locations and the blacklisted pets where: Sifang Otter, Sifang Otter Pup, Small Frog, Softshell Snapling, Golden Civet Kitten and Huge Toad. All aquatic, no critters. The remaining 10% still killing me may've been caused by hotspots on opposite sides of a blackspot, in most cases Northwest part of Hearthill with all them "rabbits". I was about 15% away from lvl 90 so I didnt bother but I would've made a macro on the side of the bot that would recognize when I'm dead, wait for when the bot ressurects me, STOP the bot, Hearthstone to Halfhill, and re-run the bot. If you guys want to I can give you a MSPaint edited screenshot of the map where I spray-brushed blackspot areas and hotspot Areas. Or even upload the profile. I will check every morning for a week and then i will probably not bother anymore. Some other tweaks I did was making a macro on the side that would recognize when a petbattle is not occuring and he's not on his mount, so it would stop the bot, mount up and re-run the bot. After this I increased my XP/h with, according to HonorBuddy, 250%.
