[PB]Inscription 1-600 Powerlevel within 12min

DISCLAIMER: OUTDATED Since Warlords of Draenor Launch:

The Vendors require Warbinder Ink to obtain the low level Inks, and generally, there is a way easier (but not cheaper) method for skill-up, if you are level 90+ character.

Keeping for reference, if you do not have access to WOD Expansion, or your characters are lower than 90 (If I have time, will update it for WoD)



Hello, here it is my personal profile for leveling your scribers to 600 in less than 12min.

Requirements:

1. Prepare 602 Ink of Dream

2. Have ~800g for training the all the recipes.

3. Bag space - around 20 free slots.

4. Have 12min spare time.


Instructions:

1. Start in Orgrimmar for Horde | Stormwind for Alliance | Dalaran for Neutral, near the Inscription Trainer recommended.

2. Load the profile.

3. Press Start.


To do:

1. Alliance version and Neutral (in Dalaran) as follow. (done)

2. No training versions - to avoid buying tons of useless recipes and save ~500g.

3. Maybe change Moraka with Sinzi NPC for Horde

4. Start anywhere - Changing continents - Navigation to the trainers.

5. Guild withdraw, Mail loot for the Inks/Gold.

P.S. I have tested it on quite a few scribers, and found no noticable bugs so far, but since I do edit them abit, feel free to correct me if you found any, thanks!

I am a newby in the coding after all.


What the profiles will NOT do:

1. Moving to your faction capital

2. Milling herbs and crafting Inks off Pigments.

3. Select only useful recipes from the Inscription Trainer.

4. Mail and Vendor stuff on full bags.

False advertising, the time it would take to make the 645+ Ink of Dreams has to be equated into the time it takes to level if you want to make claims that this could be done in 12 minutes.

Cool profile nonetheless, I'll be trying it when I get home.

 

The time is obviously for the skillup itself, not the mats gathering part.

On some servers, the inks are already as low as their vendor bottom - 2.5g each, so bruteforce buying off AH would be good idea if you have no scriber around to mill the herbs yourself.

The best source for Ink of Dream is always the MOP herbs milling! You do get 5-6 Ink of Dream + 0.5 Starlight Ink per milled 20x MoP Herbs (Only Fool's Cap deliver 1x full Starlight Ink per 20x)

hey! thank you for this .. my server is super populated but noone does ink of dreams.. on the ah? any idea how i am bale to do this.. i looked up its saying to make ink of dream you need inscription of 600 ;/ so i am not sure

 

Pleeease tell me theres a way to level inscription with ink of dreams still! Farmed like 4000 ink of dreams for my alts, but cant turn them in because they now require the draenor equivelant to ink of dreams

 

Since WoD launch, the vendors do require the up-to-date ink as usual - this expansion thats the Warbinder Ink.

Yes as seems. The only issue is the cost of new WoD Ink.

 

Actually, it can be quite more optimized. We can top Inscription now without single profile, only by clicking once or twice, as long as we have the mats

After milling the Draenor herbs, the pigment->Warbringer Ink conversion grant skillup from 1 up to 600, its enough if we have 600 of them, up to 300 skill, then use the Warbringer Inks to create the new WoD Glyphs learning scroll, which grant 3x skill up to 600 too, so using these 300 Inks will top us to 600 skill.

But its recommended to stop on 599, then use your daily War Paints CD once, which give 10x skillup from 1 to 599, then use the Secrets CD, and your are topped to 610 skill in Inscription in several minutes too! Indeed, you cannot top over 610 in day one, but still.

The above is too simple, to have the sense of scripting it with ProfessionBuddy, so I think its better to leave it as is for now
