Hey, So I have this botting pc: proc : amd athlon 64 x2 6000+ ram : 4gb ddr2 800 freqz video: ati radeon hd 3400 512 mb I'm running xp sp2 student edition 86 bits (the windows is clean, no unnecessary programs other than those needed for gb/hb to work) . The windows only sees 3.3 gb ram, and I'm interested in changing the OS to win 7 or using some programs like PAE or " Ready for 4gb" to make the windows able to read 4gb ram or more . I'm running 9 X Gatherbuddy with max fps 15( all on desktop) . (it is better to minimize the wow instances in the bar?). My processor stays at 90-100% and the ram used is 3700 ( shows the task manager). My wow processor speed and ram aren't stable (task manager), they keep changing from: proc 5%-18% per wow ram 200-300. per wow gatherbuddy 1-7% per gb system iddle processor around 15-20% Only these gb and wow are running on that pc, and I still get 100% processor usage My questions are: (I browsed already some threads about multi bots per pc) 1. Should I use any programs (if so give me some examples) to clear the memory every x minutes? 2. Is there anything I can install to help the processor ? 3. Do I need to change anything in that pc to make it more Bot friendly? 4. Are those tweek programs any good? like Tuneup utilities /Game Booster / Bossland in his video has 150 ram usage per wow... I have all settings on low or disabled. I even disabled the special effects from spells or from chat...(what I found unnecessary in wow's interface) Is there a way to achieve that for a normal pc user? I used on all my accounts those macros that are canceling some wow effects Code: Macro1: /console groundEffectDensity 16 /console groundEffectDist 1 /console detailDoodadAlpha 1 /console horizonfarclip 1305 /console farclip 177 /console characterambient 0 /console maxfps 15 /console smallcull 0 /console skycloudlod 1 Macro2: /console lod 1 /console lodDist 50 /console mapShadows 0 /console anisotropic 1 /console fullAlpha 0 /console MaxLights 1 /console gxVSync 0 /console frillDensity 1 /console specular 0 /console pixelShaders 0 /console maxfpsbk 10 ================= Macro 3 /console maxfps 15 /console maxfpsbk 10 ================== I really don't know what to do more... Thank you for using your time reading this . Btw how's my English? e1. btw I bought one cheap chinise Epad ep07 - 7.0 inch touch screen to help me managing the gold/bots 800x480 256MB Memory android 1.7 2gb hdd + 8gb sd for team viwer /excel and maybe an adroid app to monitor the bots I think is enough. proc VIA VT8505 ARM926 533MHz if the tablet is good I'm considering in getting another one for a better bot control this one has HDD: 160G , 2 gb ddr 2 , proc Intel (R) Atom (TM) CPU N450@1.66GHz, and windows 7 Display Graphics: Integrated Graphics Intel GMA3150 . I think the second one is good enough to run wow ) and from what I can tell is better than apple's Ipad and its 3-4th times cheaper. e2. Can a mod please move this thread into http://www.thebuddyforum.com/forumdisplay.php?56-General-Discussion-Forum Thank you
I think this would be a really good idea to start a thread specifically for this as I know some people are wondering how to run more bots on there pc.
2 thumbs up for gamebooster http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html it can defrag your wow directory, made a huge difference for me after latest patch, my wow was constantly freezing, this seems to have resolved this for me, give it a whirl.
Lol I guess I'm going to try out gamebooster and see if it can make my game run any faster. I hope is dose... D:
x86 is actually 32-bit Your system isn't topnotch ... AMD isn't exactly famous for good performance in games. Add to that an ATI radeon HD 3400 that is no Ferrari. I have a HD3400 in my laptop and it's a poor card.
that's my botting pc, the sad part is that pc is better than this one and it was at half the price: Amd phenom 9850+ quad core 2.5gb 4gb ddr2 or 3 , forgot the firm and frequenzy Nvidea Gforce gtx260 896mb On this pc I can barely run 6 bots.... (the bots start lagging, If I move a inch the wow indow the pc freezez for 30 seconds, 1 min...)Something is broken... I think the video card, I had this pc send in service twice so far and they said that its working perfectly when they test it. I have errors of BSOD in warcraft 3 if you can imagine.... "x86 is actually 32-bit " why do you think I asked about some ram modifying programs in the first place? if I had 64 bit I could've used more than 3.3 ram.
If you want the full 4gb you need to change to 64bit, no way around that. I'm pretty sure you could disable the graphics completely to reduce CPU/GPU usage, you would probably need to hook into DirectX (or OpenGL if that's what you use) for that, there was some discussion about this on mmowned memory editing section.
Right know i have 6 GB's running with the Macros and Gamebooster and my win is CPU at 4% and RAM at 2GB
